Massage Addict

I strongly suggest potential clients to read the bios of their practitioners before booking an appointment. The RMTs here are an extremely mixed bag of highly trained professionals and odd individuals who probably should lose their registration.

Awful experience! Disgusted! Can't even explain how terrible my whole experience at this location was. Dirty towels, where you lay down and put your face in was full of other people grease and had a terrible odor, sheet used on me had a big black spot on it, massage therapist was terrible! Walked out very upset, they didn't deserve to be paid. I do not recommend this place.

It was my first time getting a massage in Canada. This place was recommended by a colleague and so I tried out the yonge/Lawrence branch. The area is neat and clean, the receptionist was very friendly and shared plenty knowledge as this was my first time there.I booked my massage with Kia as she had a lot of positive reviews already and now I know why! She did a great job on my whole back, arms and head. Would definitely recommend.It’s not your fancy spa vibes but definitely worth the money for muscle relaxing!

Signed a 6 month contract and wasn’t told it had not ended. Didn’t get billed one month and then out of nowhere started getting billed again. When I called for a refund I was spoken to with attitude, and like they were doing me a favour to have given me a discounted price for a 6 month contract? I had to call my bank to dispute the charges unfortunately. Only go to this place if you want to have hundreds of dollars of credit for massages you didn’t get, only not to get the money back and then spoken to with attitude. (By the way you can’t even use the credit on a first service, only on a second service the same month. Total scam) no wonder there is a high turnover of massage therapists. If they treat their customers this way I can only imagine how they treat the staff. Would have given less than 1 star but it’s not possible.

Miki is awesome - he’s super friendly and knows how to adjust based on what you are looking for - would recommend for anyone who wants to feel comfortable and walk away feeling limber!

Victoria was super nice, but what I don't love about Massage Addict is that I'm asked to tip at the end. It's not a spa, there isn't tea and a sauna and showers. That's the only other type of massage place where tips are usually expected.

I have no complaints about the facility but I guess I was unlucky with the masseuse coz the massage I received yesterday was absolutely mediocre. Either he couldn't feel my knots or didn't bother to release them fully coz now those hurt so much! :(I've never felt this awful after a massage :(Suggest everyone to pick a therapist with good reviews here before booking blindly

Have been scheduling regular massages at this location for about a month with Kia and Victoria. Both are well trained highly professional individuals who offer holistic treatment of issues going the extra mile to show stretches, at home techniques etc that can help with problem areas. Every time I have come in there has been a new receptionist and each one has been kind and very helpful with insurance processing. Highly recommend :)

Tread carefully, they offer a contract 6months or 1 year so you get a discount, and all is well for the term, but when the contract is done they keep charging you and when you confront them about it they’re rude, and say things such as “we did you a favour” as if I was getting some sort of free service. If you appreciate your hard earned money go elsewhere.
