My insurance provider has assigned my claim to this company to take care of my insurance reimbursements. Shelley Thompson was the adjuster given to me. My experience with Shelley had been by far difficult. I’ve always been informing her with updates and providing her with all the receipts for my claims. I was not gonna be a typical customer who would demand so much,but with her unprofessionalism in getting back to emails, consistent delays for processing, unbelievable excuses, I couldn’t help but say that my patience with her has reached its limit. I’ve given her all the receipts a month ago to process, she said she submitted it to my insurance provider for them to process it. Weeks have gone by, and I haven’t received any cheques, I followed up with her again and again, and then she said that the insurance provider didn’t receive the report she had initially submitted so she had to resubmit it again and now I’m waiting AGAIN for god knows how long, I don’t know. I wish my file was handled by Tarrin Zdebiak, she was more customer friendly, replies on my emails, she may not give me false hopes, but she updates me so that I know what to expect. She fortunately had to look after my file for a day as Shelley was on a vacation. Unlike Tarrin, with Shelley, You don’t have a clue with what’s going on because she won’t be proactive for it. There was even one time I called her, asked her about updates, she said she’ll have to look into it because she’s not on her computer and she had a rough day since she had 3 other clients phoned her before me and also follows up with her. Telling those words to me as a customer makes me feel “are you honestly telling me those words? That reflects how inefficient you are as a person in your job”. I get agitated about how she handles my file because I myself works and deals with clients, not in the insurance world, but in the financial services world, and the way she treated me as a client, it made me feel like it’s dreadful to file an insurance claim (despite the fact I have done one before for my vehicle and it was all smooth and easy) i know It’s not my insurance provider’s fault. It’s The adjuster’s, who my insurance provider chose, that makes the overall process highly inconvenient. For people who’s insurance claim will be assigned to SCM CLAIMSPRO, please once you find out that your file will be handled by Shelley Thompson, be prepared for what could happen in your claim, delays and no updates. If you’re given to Tarrin Zdebiak, you will be fine, she gets backs to emails and updates you.

Worst company to work with .the claims department is still okay but don’t ever work for their other departments like finance or IT. Their management is biased and favour only their references .if you don’t have any references in The company then you are always at the receiving end.They will belittle you if they don’t find you good.not a good company to work long term for.The culture here is if you do hard work it doesn’t matter you have to follow your bosses order like a puppet.Suppose if by any chance your boss finds you working a bit differently or at some point in 25 years of your life working at the company you had an issue with your boss your all hard work of 25 years goes down the drain and he can fire you as well.They don’t have any respect for emotions.suppose if you disagree with your boss regarding 1 thing in your 25 years of career they would find ways to fire you doesn’t matter if you have worked for the last 25 years.
