Lighthouse Japanese Restaurant
This place was very lovely and welcoming. The quality of the sushi was great, however the portion size was not that large. Cost was average. This wasn’t an all you can eat place. The seafood tasted clean and more fresh than other places I have tried in Lethbridge. The chicken bowl was flavourful with a good sauce to rice ratio. Chicken tasted fresh and moist. We finished it off which some ice cream and the green tea ice cream was delicious and perfectly sweetened. The server was very kind and knowledgeable. This is the place to go if you want to sit down with a friend for a quick bite. I also had a chance to try their appletini which was pleasantly delightful.

Lighthouse Japanese Restaurant
We visited for the first time last week. Our server didn't smile at us. When I looked around the store while eating, none of the three servers in the store laughed. There was no laughter the whole time we were in the restaurant. It wasn't rude, but it didn't feel kind. We ordered a love boat and an octopus sonomono, and the sonomono was so delicious. The Love Boat was small compared to other sushi restaurants, but it was not special. It was a restaurant I really wanted to visit, but it wasn't a pleasant experience for us.

I tried different Japanese restaurant in Lethbridge, this one gave me a comfortable feeling of seats n environment. Their food is good. I will go back n try more different items next time.

Good food, portion and prices. We were able to get the dinner for 3 for a group of 4 people. The portion was pretty generous, and came with a variety of items.The dinner for 3 set came with soup, salad, rice, California rolls, sushi, sashimi, edamame beans, gyoza, beef teriyaki, chicken katsu and tempura. The price for this set was $70.

Lighthouse Japanese Restaurant
Food was decent but service was slow...mainly due to the never ending lineup of Skip drivers waiting at the front. The restaurant prioritized these orders leaving the dining room waiting. It took over 30 minutes to get anything...including salmon sashimi which should not take more than a few minutes to make. For the price, I think I can find better service.

Good food, made fresh. I saw some other comments about portion size being small but I disagree. This was a standard portion size and I left full.It was quiet in the place tonight but the service was friendly and quick. Thank you.

Excellent. So glad we finally tried it! The restaurant is cute and intimate. Food was delicious. Service was fast, professional and friendly. Can't wait to come back with our family and friends! :)

A really nice small Japanese restaurant very a good atmosphere. The food is good, I've tried their lunch special, which isn't any of these pictures unfortunately, and is very filling.The dinner for three was able to satisfy the four us when we had it. The beef teriyaki sauce was pretty salty, the beef itself was nice and tender. The chicken catsu was very good, tender, flavorful, and crispy. Tuna and salmon sashimi and nigri weren't too bad, kind of taste the same as any other place that sells sushi but did taste a little less fishy and a little fresher.The soy sause was also quite salty like the beef teriyaki. The wasabi is spicier than any other place in Lethbridge, which I personally enjoyed. Food is reasonably priced for the amount you receive.Overall, I would recommend this place for a nice date or you're craving Japanese food.

Lighthouse Japanese Restaurant
I had the chicken super bowl and it was delicious. Vegetables were perfectly cooked and they didn't skimp on chicken or veggies either. The Gyoza were perfectly fried and the dough was not heavy but light and tasty. My colleagues had sushi and found the rice was perfect and the fish was fresh. The tempura banana for dessert was also excellent although it was a little soggy.

Friendly customer service from Izzy. We asked about her recommendations on the menu and she gave a few options. Green tea was hot. California Roll & Rainbow Roll were fresh & delicious. Prices comparable to all other sushi places in Lethbridge. Nice atmosphere. Place was full for lunch hour.
