We found Reid Brothers to be professional, efficient, and very reliable. From the beginning of our three projects to the end, their team has been most thorough. I was contacted by Brian, their Project Manager, at the beginning of our projects. He stayed in touch and walked us through every step of the way from start to finish. He told us what to expect and when service would start and end. He also did follow-ups upon completion of the projects. Technicians, Richard and Sam came in to check on our gas furnace and hot water heater (the latter had a slow leak), and to check on our kitchen sink tap which needed replacement. They also connected our new fire pit to our existing gas line. Not only did they do a thorough job of all three, but they went the extra mile - while Richard worked on checking the furnace and hot water tank, Sam finished setting up the partially completed fire pit for us. Both were extremely professional, courteous and congenial. Technicians, Tom and Matt came in to install the tankless water heater which we opted to have put in. They too were extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, very thorough, and completed the project in a timely and efficient manner. We are very pleased with the entire team of professionals at Reid Brothers, and we would recommend them highly.

We have always had issues of not enough hot water and heat due to a seemingly complex heating system for several years. All concerns have finally been resolved thanks to a highly experienced and competent company that takes the time to explain the underlying reasons and how to solve them!!!) My family can now finally live in comfort and always know who to rely on for their professionalism! Thank you sooooo much Reid Brothers. Customers for life!!

Reid Bros has been around for 30+ years for a reason. The old fashioned care of their customers has been passed down to the newer generation of family. They really care and know what they are doing.

I had Reid Brothers install a Navien combi on demand water heating system. They did an amazing job. Everything went perfectly from initial inquiry to installation. The installation is beautiful workmanship.

I asked my handyman friend for a recommendation for a plumber and he told me that Reid Brothers was his go to choice when a serious plumbing job was needed. I had my gas hot water boiler replaced with no issues. The team from Reid Bros was professional and trustworthy. They will be my go to choice from now on.

Reid Bros installed a mini-split system for us in 4 years ago. We were so pleased with their work that we brought to install a high efficiency furnace last year. In between they did some plumbing maintenance for us. All their work has been excellent.The team is exceptional. They chose excellent quality heating and cooling systems for our home. They helped us rule out systems that would be incompatible with our older house, outlined the pros and cons of more suitable options, answered all our questions, arrived on time, worked efficiently, and were easy to be around. If you are looking for a company with high standards from start to finish, I recommend Reid Brothers for all your plumbing and heating needs.

Incredibly impressed with Reid Brothers from beginning to end!The estimator (who also turned out to be my installer) was friendly, extremely knowledgable, and helpful, and helped me talk through options. The estimate was clear and detailed.The installation lasted 3 days, went exactly as planned and was fantastic. They communicated clearly and were easy to work with. The hot water came back on even sooner than promised. The installer answered all of my questions and shared a ton of useful information, and explained everything about the combination boiler / water heater.And the boiler room looks way better than before!I have the sense the the folks working on the house took pride in a job well done, and I appreciate that so much!I've used another major name in Vancouver for my old hot water heater, and it was not a good experience. The difference between them and Reid Brothers was night and day--what a huge improvement!Thank you Reid Brothers! I'm glad to have found you!Note: To reduce the carbon footprint, I had really wanted to switch to an electric air-to-water heat pump, but it seems that most installers, including Reid Brothers, aren't ready for this yet.

I had a leaky shower complicated by poor workmanship when it was installed years ago. The guys from Reid Bros. quickly assessed what needed to be done, removed all the bad work, re-did it properly and fast. We stopped using this shower two years ago and it got fixed with one phone call. I should have done it way sooner. Thanks Reid Bros!

I called Reid Brothers (RB) on November 26, 2019 because of a failed boiler at my house the previous night. Problem was the fuse in the Zone Control Board had blown. RB replaced with the wrong fuse 3 times and each one blew as soon as the power to the boiler was turned on. RB claimed the wiring was not correct and said it was not the way RB would have done it (the boiler was installed over 7 years ago and had been working fine until then). RB rearranged different wires and bypassed the heating zone valves to allow only the hot water tank to be heated temporarily and left. They would come back the next day to re-wire the whole system. Within 15 to 20 minutes of RB leaving, I smelled burning and found smoke and sparks coming out of the Zone Control Board. I switched off the power to the boiler immediately. The following morning, I told the RB dispatch person of the fire hazard incident and met with total indifference.I found another plumber and he diagnosed the problem right away as a faulty Zone Control Board which he replaced immediately, but noticed the top of the Universal Intermittent Pilot Ignition Module casing was melted and cracked from the heat generated. It had to be replaced as well. Finally, the technician had to reconnect all the wiring that RB had dismantled in order for the boiler to work. He said there are different ways of wiring the boiler system there was nothing wrong with the current wiring system. I ended up paying over $450 extra on fixing Reid Brother’s incompetence.I wrote a letter to RB and sent pictures of bill and damaged modules. “Mike” from RB called and said he will investigate the event but the responsible technician is away. That was the last I heard from RB.This is a update since the review was published.RB contacted me after the above review was published. They apologized for the problem they had caused and for not following up with any remediation in a timely manner. They had also retrained the responsible technician and reimbursed me on the additional cost I had to paid.RB had eventually taken responsibility of the event and did what they could to redress the issue.

your drivers are dangerous to other drivers' safety. Was driving towards Vancouver this morning @730am May 5/23 on Arthur Lang bridge. Your driver (young looking male bald headed/shaved head with glasses) in a REID BROTHERS company van was behind me & all of a sudden sped up & cut me off, almost clipping the right side of my vehicle. Its raining & slippery on the deck of the bridge. How irresponsible & obviously no regard for others safety. I would never call you for service.
