The response was great, same day service. David found a solution for my old mail box. The rates are reasonable, so overall happy and I would call again. Thank you!

I was very impressed with the service provided by YEG Locksmith. He was very professional and tried his best to reduce the cost. All together he changed four locks and gave us a 10% discount. I would not hesitate YEG Locksmith to anyone.

I was told on the phone that the service price was all I'd be paying ($30) the tech came and unlocked my car door in a matter of 20-30 seconds and charged me $167. If they were upfront about the price I wouldn't mind. But for such a tiny job and a 20 minute drive. They practically are being paid $500/h

*****EDITED*****After receiving a response from the owners I was able to confirm that I apparently DID NOT use YEGLocksmith services. I am incredibly sorry to the business, this review should have been for locksmith edmonton though I swear I was trying to click the number for YEGLocksmith. I may delete this review in the future but wanted to confirm that the response from the owners is correct. I'm now wondering if this has happened to other people who are inadvertently rating the wrong company...(The review below should be disregarded for YEG Locksmith)The technician himself was very good. Got the door unlocked quickly, warned me that he was concerned it may need to be drilled (it didn’t luckily), in and out no issues. Door popped open within 5 minutes of him getting there.I am a little frustrated with the communication though: I was told about the service fee and had to ask about additional fees. Only then was I told in addition to service fee it’s $45 and up. In total I spent $170. No idea what a $45 service is if that was a (service fee excluded) $125 service. More transparency on pricing would be very nice. And a receipt, who doesn’t render a receipt?In total I’m conflicted because the end goal was accomplished and even a better result than it might have been (no need to drill the lock - and I accept the technician’s assessment that this may have been a more difficult lock). However, some more clarity on the cost would have been preferable.

I was locked out of my house at 11:30 p.m. I was charged $103 for the service call nothing mentioned about further payment the nice man arrived very quickly and was here 20 minutes for another $147!!!!

Very friendly and it was clear they have a lot of experience! They offered me a discount and prices weren’t too bad compared to other locations. They also did a very quick job.

I was told I would be paying $95 for the service fee and $28 for the mailbox lock replacement. I was charged $143. If I had been told up front what the charges would be I would not mind. The service itself was fine. I was charged $20 more than I was told I would be charged. I can not help but think it's because I am a woman, but who knows.
