Slient and clean place. All the staff are very helpfull. Very huge building not a single person gets irritated if you ask them for help

The place is big and not crowded. I understand that this is a gouvernment office building but it could give some of those spaces to Chinatown as that neighborhood is bustling while this place feels empty. You come here for the Canadian passport and it's connected to the Montreal's Underground City RESO, which means it's connected to the Palais Des Congres convention center & the Complexe Desjardins mall indoors. There's some Chinese stores & salons.

I love the interior of this building and the facilities they are providing. I went their for an appointment at the service Canada office. However the waiting time for outside was prolonged but the interior structure of the building was amazing which helped to reduce my boredom level!!

I was there for an urgent passport renewal at Canada Service office. I arrived at 8 am, before the opening hour. About 10 persons were lined up. The office is very organized and the staffs were knowledgable and collaborative. It took 1.5 hrs to get out.

I rarely write reviews but I wouldn’t want people to go through what I went through.I came at 5 am and there were already 50ish people before me. Once the Service Canada Passport office opened, they let a bunch of people who got there AROUND 8 am pass before the ones who have been camping outside since 8pm the day before. The line was disorganized. Very frustrating.Afterwards they separated people leaving today and people leaving tomorrow. The people leaving today were priority.You can only come if you’re leaving in 24h otherwise they turn you away. They make you pay the extra 110$ fee even if it’s not your fault you need to come 24h before your travel plans (because they don’t let you in otherwise).My passport pick up time is 3:45 pm (I’m writing this review as I wait to pick up my passport).Whole process is 10h for me. I am absolutely exhausted and will have flash backs when I pass in front of a Service Canada office in the future.

I just call the passport office to ask themDo I have to take appointment or just walk inThe guy picked up the phone and speak FrenchHe asked me , do you speak French ? ….. I said I do speak English…. Then he said something in French and say ..bye then hung up the phone …..The passport office is bilingue, how he was so rude like that

Very bad experience with security team in there . Systems says there is a walk in . When I went there a RACIst white female refused to speak to me as I did not speak in French . And left me as if I don’t exist . And asked another guard to reply to me and not accept me in . When I complained they did nothing and as usual she walked away with her racial biased action
