Double L Group of Companies

Awful company.... their equipment had several hydraulic leaks and 3 days later they still have not clean up this mess. If you are looking for an environmental issue, these guys will certainly be happy to oblige. It's going to cost $1,000 to clean this up... I strongly recommend stay away from this company... see pictures. Horrible company to work with!

We've had two experiences with Double L Towing via AMA and could not be happier with their team's expertise, promptness, and friendliness. 10/10

The service person was out almost immediately after I made my call to AMA, he acted fast and the response time was very appreciated. Having a flat tire is irritating in any circumstance but I cannot express enough appreciation for the urgency that was taken as a women with a flat tire, in a dark parking lot. Thanks again!

The two guys that came out were horrendous. They had my exact address but couldn't locate me for an extended period. These guys seemed to be very lacking in knowledge of the Edmonton Downtown Core. And one guy literally says to me, You didn't tell me about the train track." Just wow!They seemed to have had the correct tools for a car lockout but lacking in experience. On November 5, 2022, we were involved in a motor vehicle accident and the RCMP called Double L towing to tow our vehicle. While the operator, Keith D, was hooking up the vehicle, the alarm was constantly going off. I approached Keith and told him I could turn it off and he became abrasive and told me to go back to my vehicle. He then yelled at the peace officers to send me to my vehicle. Then, despite the fact that we had arranged to have a collision company to receive the vehicle, Keith D drove away away before we could give him those instructions. We were not given any information as to where our vehicle would be taken, nor did we even know the name of the company that towed our vehicle. We were eventually able to find out the name of the company through various other channels of information. We were never contacted by Double L towing at anytime to tell us where our vehicle was. When we finally ascertained the location of the vehicle we went to Double L Towing and we’re given a bill of over 1200$, which included fees for impound which we would have avoided by using the collision centre we had arranged for. In addition, when the car was towed to the collision centre, it was sent without any paperwork. It took several days for the collision centre to realize that they had my car. I would like to add I am a person of colour and drive an very expensive vehicle I believe that Keith D treated me the way he did because of these facts. It is disappointing that vulnerable victims of a recent motor vehicle accident would be treated in such a callous and abrasive manner that made the experience even more difficult. To then have to track down or vehicle afterwards was an unnecessary situation that caused additional stress. I would like to be refunded for the added inconvenience and mistreatment. Double L Towing has not reply to our formal complaint on BBB it's been 2 weeks now.

Much better and less expensive than most impound lots. Also very respectful of your vehicle!

A crash tarp was supposed to be put over my vehicle as per the person I spoke with but they forgot" to do that so dirt

Big NO to their services, Dumbest service ever. I was told 225 while taking credit card details. But got charged 307 and explanation was that it was 30 kms away and 3 dollar/km where they had not towed my car for any kilometre. It took 5 minutes to get the car out and then I drove it back.My question is, didn’t they know in the beginning about the KMS while taking the credit card info. So later this explanation does not make any sense.Whoever was in the front desk dealing with phone calls had no etiquettes on dealing with customers.

I had to get my sports car towed today with Eddie L. His major concern was the attention to maintaining my vehicles condition.He said he had 17 years experience and it showed. I actually asked him personally for a card.He can tow my car any day,
