Loving my new central heat pump. The install was quick and easy. It has been rrunning for about 3 weeks now, and it looks like it is going to cut my entire electric bill in half vs my 27 year old resistance electric furnace. By my estimate it is using about 1/3 of the electricity the old furnace did. But more importantly, it is a much more consistent and comfortable heat. No more 3 degree swings, the new heat pump maintains a precise temperature 24x7, making thw whole house noticably more comfortable. The timing was perfect, as we just got a few days of below freezing weather. It kept up with -5 and -7 lows with no problem at all. It is a big investment, so my expectations were high, and so far they are being met. Thankyou Coastal!

We appreciated that we were advised that we did not need a heat pump, but just an air conditioner, because our furnace is only a few years old. The work of installing the A/C was done very efficiently. The A/C was tied in to our existing furnace ducts. All the Coastal Energy employees were a pleasure to deal with. This A/C unit is very capable of cooling down our home which is 1,703 square feet.

Highly recommend. We have an older home with a fairly new natural gas furnace and wanted to have ac. Angelo provided an estimate and was professional and very informative. We had a York natural gas ac installed on our existing furnace. Install was done on time and Jake and Cameron arrived on time and were very courteous and professional. The ac works great and we were very pleased with the service.

Fantastic from start to finish. I enjoyed the Sales and Installation processes as I always knew where I was in the process and what to expect next. Each date that was given and each promise made was delivered as expected. The sales call was professional yet casual enough for me to feel comfortable. The installation crew were fantastic. Each step in the day was laid out on arrival and each member of the crew was kind, respectful and clearly knowledgable about the equipment they were installing.We are very happy with our choice of Coastal Energy.

As a librarian, I thoroughly researched various companies and quotes when looking to replace an old heat pump and backup oil furnace. Coastal Energy was in the middle of the quotes for cost, but offered a Fujitsu 2 ton ducted system that had better reviews than the lower end units and a good warranty.All the folks I dealt with at the company were friendly, professional, and very responsive at every step of the process. What impressed me most about Angelo and the other people at Coastal is that despite them being very busy, they really take the time to listen and make suggestions that won't just drive up the end bill, but are actually tailored for the home they're working in.After the unit was installed and I'd lived with it a few weeks, I had some concerns about how it was working, as I was used to an older system. They sent a very knowledgeable service tech (Scott?) out to answer all my questions, at no cost. He patiently walked me through how the new system operates, and how it was different from my old system, putting all my concerns to rest. He made sure that I didn't have any other questions.I usually don't write online reviews, but had such an outstanding experience with Coastal Energy that I wanted to this time. I recommend them without hesitation; you'll be in good hands at every step of the process!

They installed a ductless heat pump system in our home. They were friendly, professional, tidy and did a beautiful job. They did all of their work as unobtrusively as possible and were finished earlier than expected. They explained the operation to us before leaving The system works well! We definitely recommend Coastal Energy especially Chris and Santiago.

We recently had our gas furnace swapped out for an electric heat pump. Coastal's entire team was professional and responsive. Angelo visited our home to provide an estimate and explained where and how the unit would be connected. On installation day, Cam and Jake (and the electrical contractor) did exactly what Angelo said. No surprises! Jake kept us informed at every step of the install. The office team walked us through our payment process and provided all the details on the invoice that allowed us to apply for the Provincial rebate. Also, the original quote provided to us detailed all the rebate information available to us including the 'rebate coach' contact information which was helpful.It's been a week and we love the quiet and warm operation of the unit and look forward to the next heat wave! Excellent experience from start to finish. The most satisfaction we got was from the install team (Chris & Santiago). Both guys were consummate professionals in every aspect. They were on time, clean, knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and adaptive to change. Highly recommended this tandem of guys.My family is satisfied with coastal energy and we recommend them.We installed a ducted unit In our attic as well as a ductless unit downstairs. It’s completely transformed out 3000 SF house for the better.

They installed a ductless system for our upstairs bedroom. four years ago Coastal Energy replaced our heat pump and furnace...very professional and courteous. The reason we called them back for the ductless system was because of the great job done with heat pump for years ago. We were not disappointed! I highly recommend these folks.

Angelo, the salesman was very knowledgeable, came up with good solutions for our electrical requirements, product knowledge was excellent and he is very personable. Followed up during the quotes and installation time and came up with a fix the morning of the install when it was determine the heat pump unit was damaged in the warehouse. Arranged for a same-day replacement from Victoria to ensure install was still completed as promised.Chris & his partner did a great job on the install, explained the functions of the unit in detail and left the jobsite clean and neat.Scott went the extra mile with the electrical wiring and once could see that he has pride in his workmanship.Very satisfied with the Fujitsu unit as it is quite and very effective. Keeps the room comfortable & cool.Will gladly recommend Coastal Energy to all my friends.Thanks-Louis
