Coast Capital - Cambie Branch

my son went to get an rrsp and the male rep said that he shouldn't invest it because he was not working at that moment, so he put it in a savings account and now all the money is gone!. My son did not need that money to live on. I will never ever use Coast Capital Savings EVER. Disgusting advice was given to my young son......

This isn't my main branch, but I do want to commend on their level of customer service. The staff is helpful and always courteous.Namely Agnieszka, this lady is not only super knowledgeable, but is also very professional with a top notch courtesy. I've had 2 incidents that she took care of, 1 was an error made by other bank, and one by coast capital. BOTH times, she was extremely patient with me, respectful and swift in taking care of issues. She not only resolved the problems within the time promised, she also consistently called me during the resolution process to keep me informed of status. This is why I've made this my go-to branch.

Smooth and flawless transaction. The girl who helped me, Iris, was splendid. Very sweet to talk to and she quickly resolved my issue. Great branch and pretty clean place!

I experienced twice not helpful Richmond center coastal. Disappointed with the service.

Bank tellers at coast capital are completely incompetent! I had to go back to the branch 4 times to open an account. I wish the bank teller were trained properly so they knows what they need to tell customer.

Extremely rude staff that do not address customer concerns. After a visit when I explained an issue to a manager her response was do you want me to cry over the issue" while giving a rude smirk. After this visit I phoned and made a complaint only to have the branch manager call me back and tell me I was a lier. I closed my account and moved all my investments after this experience."

Short and sweet. Inside of the bank is quite Pleasant, well laid out and easy to negotiate.. Otherwise the staff is less than desirable, truly not the nicest Bunch I'm dealt with not being personal at all. Manners would go a long way at this bank but unfortunately I do not see that happening in the near future. I would highly recommend that all stay clear of this one if you're looking for a one-on-one pleasant experience otherwise it is tolerable. Cheers all

While Google has the opening hours posted as being 9am, this is only true for the Insurance side. The actual bank does NOT open until 9:30am. Google please update your information.

Don't bother banking here. I was thinking about refinancing my mortgage through Coast Capital as I'm looking to upgrade homes. Coast was suggested to me by a brokerage but I won't get into the details.I had an appointment with Gary Chan on March 14th. The appointment was very short and it ended with I'm very busy this week but I will try to work on your application when I have time. I will give you a call next week and if I don't then you can give me a call to follow up". It's April 8th today and I still haven't received any sort of call back. Clearly this guy should be looking for a new job as he just lost this bank close to a million dollar loan."
