Gorudoya Sushi
This is the BEST authentic sushi restaurant in GTA. This place is family owned and operated (there is a personal touch provided with their service). Folks here always go above and beyond to ensure you have a good experience. If you love sushi and you have not yet visited Gorudoya, you are missing out.

More of a Korean-style sushi with purple rice and more veg, but still a decent sushi place. The proportion of fish to rice is great, though it is reflected in the higher prices compared to other sushi spots. I found the rolls hard to eat with the larger size and not being rolled as tight.

My favorite sushi spot in Toronto. Amazing presentation, customer service, decoration, music, menu... Everything here is perfect, even the desserts and the coffee they have. I absolutely love this place and its owners ❤️ Thank you so much for the hospitality, it was a pleasure being here with you. I will definitely be back.

Friendly, family operated. Superb quality. Excellent value. Super fresh and tasty sashimi. Well made sushi and rolls. They mix white and black rice to give the rolls a lovely purple color. Loved it.

Love this place. Was in Toronto for a conference for 3-days and I ate there for 2 of the days I was in town. The sushi is delicious and wonderfully presented. Small place with lovely employee owners, who treated me well. Will visit often.

Since I moved to Toronto 2 years ago, Gorudoya has been my favourite sushi place by far. Compared to other restaurants in Toronto that serve sushi of this grade, this place is affordable, and of course the food is great! The husband and wife who run it are warm and welcoming each time I’ve come. I’ll be coming back soon!

Wow, really really good sushi, and at a reasonable price for being in the heart of downtown Toronto. The quality of the fish was amazing, service was great, employees were all super nice and helpful. We got the sushi platter with 44 pieces (enough for 2). The spicy salmon and salmon belly (with onions or shallots on top) pieces were my favorites. Highly recommend, I'll be back!
