Hinton Lodge

It's nice and affordable. It's proximity to Jasper national Park is a great addition too. It is also surrounded with many restaurants and they offer a good continental breakfast.

The room was perfect and clean. Great rate for the basic room on a Friday night ($115). Service was quick and friendly. I didn't get to enjoy the included breakfast but it looked delicious. Close to Jasper Park North entrance and the Miette Hot Springs (40 min drive, I believe the same from Jasper downtown). Would absolutely stay again!

Very clean. Great breakfast included, more than the average continental. No hot tub available but whatever. Still a great stay with kind staff. Ultimately the trip costed half as much as it would have if we stayed in Jasper. So worth it. We will be staying here again! Thank you so much!

Every thing was upto mark EXCEPT the behaviour of receptionist working in the morning of 5th March 2023. At the time of checkout, I made an inquiry on pre approved payment method, to which she made some really sarcastic comments of me stealing stuff off the property". Not only that

Room was clean, great, and worth it. Staff were overly pleasant. The hotel is in a good location being not too far from Jasper.

Front desk staff was very nice when we checked in and checked out.Bedding was clean and had a mattress protector.Bed was hard so was not nice for a King room that we paid extra for. We had a bad sleet tossing and turning all night.Room was mostly clean except for some gross looking water??? stains on the wall next to the bed.Curtains were not long enough and letting the light in from the parking lot.Breakfast was provided but we didn’t stay to eat. The breakfast room at 8:30am was crowded so we didn’t want to wait. It was a typical hotel breakfast.

Avoid room 222 until they upgrade the bed and pillows. Other than not being able to sleep, due to the hot, worn-out bed and pillows, the room was quite nice. In Hinton, nor anywhere else, it isn't easy to find an affordable place to stay and be surprised by the price you paid(in a positive way). There is usually always something that is wrong with the room. If it seems like it is too good to be true, it usually is. As the saying goes.. The continental breakfast was alright, so that was a positive note. Also, the staff were friendly, and we had a view of the hills, so that was also a good thing. The train is right close by, so you can clearly hear it through the walls, but as it is at all hotels in the area. Thank you to the friendly staff at Hinton Lodge for the warm greetings towards me, my wife, and our baby:)

An excellent value.Rooms are what you'd find in a pricier hotel. Same for the beds. Every staff member I got to meet was friendly and personable.They understood we needed to be on the road early and had breakfast ready before 6:00a.Plug-ins available for most parking spots (some don't have them).Internet speed a little sketch, but that's a minor thing which doesn't warrant a loss of a rating star. Stay here - you'll enjoy it.

Cleanest hotel in Hinton. Plus their breakfast in the morning is awesome. Help yourself, they have a large variety for a free breakfast, Seriously, very excellent complimentary breakfast.
