Seriously the best service I have ever had with a garage. Friendly, communicative, and most importantly HONEST. Without a doubt will be taking my vehicle back here in the future if need be.

I was having an issue with my car not starting sometimes. This was the 4th mechanic I brought it to. The problem had been temporarily fixed each time, but always happened again. I even replaced the fuel pump, which looking back, probably wasn’t necessary and cost me 4 times what this visit did. That was the first shop I brought it to. Anyway, long story short. I brought it to Fat Dog. Dwayne listened to what I had to say about the issue and did what my mechanic buddy thought would fix it. I picked up up my car, started no problem. Paid a VERY fair price for the work. Shortly after I left, it happened again. Brought it back 2 days later. Dwayne found the problem and fixed it. Another 1/2 hour of labour and the part was all he charged me for. Zero issues for over 2 weeks and I’m pretty positive it’s fixed for good. Thank you Fat Dog! What a great experience. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I am very happy with the service I received from Fat Dog Automotive. The Staff was very friendly and very honest with me regarding what my SUV needed. Treated me like a person and didn't talk down to me. I will be back.

My car had been making some odd sounds so I brought it in. It turned out to be an easy solve thank goodness. The mechanic took the time to explain everything to me very throughly which I really appreciated. All of the help I received on front end stuff was amazing as well, friendly, polite, and kind. This is a shop I will be returning to in the future if I need more work done

I will keep bringing my car here. Dwayne, Bonnie and the staffs have great customer service. Prices for service/labor/parts are the cheapest I can find in Edmonton.

I bought my first car last June from these guys and they've been the only mechanic I've gone to since. I've admittedly had a few minor issues with the vehicle, but to be fair it used to be a taxi, it had over 700,000km on it and was very reasonably priced, but since that forced me to go in a few extra times it just gives me more confidence in making this review.Bonnie, in the office, is lovely. She's kind and helpful, and always chats with me when I come in. Dwayne, the owner, is great too. He's really patient with me (I really don't know much of anything about cars), always makes sure to explain things, and he's more than fair with what he charges. They were recommended to me by my uncle, and my mom will likely go there when her warranty is up.

I knew Dwayne (owner) many years ago, we just bought two trucks and needed some work done on both, so i reached out to him. I couldn’t be happier with the service we received, I have a bit of a panic side and ramble on when explaining what I’m worried about. They listened and pinpointed every issue. I never ones felt unheard or rushed. I have and will be recommending to anyone I can! You won’t be disappointed!! The most down to earth people.

Fat Dog Auto is by far the best mechanical shop in the city. They are the nicest people on top of the tremendous amount of skill. Honest, and very fair pricing. You will not choose wrong by choosing this shop.

A true honest mechanic with integrety and a very high skill set. Total problem solver.. thought I had a PTU leaking. Was told 3500 to replace and unable to reseal. Took it here found out the PTU wasn't leaking and the cause was something else. Which was fixed and cost me less than a 3rd of what I was quoted elsewhere.. Dwayne and Bonnie are amazing ppl. None of my cars or trucks are going anyplace else now. This is THE mechanic to go to. Thank you guys so much!!
