Had to get my car towed to this place. It started off ok. Car wouldn't start so it was either the starter or alternator. They fixed the problem but while the car was in their shop I asked them to look over a couple other concerns. They took down my phone number but didn't make sure it was correct. Had to rent a car during this time and was assured the car would be ready before my rental was expired which was Friday. Called them everyday to get an update nobody picked up or called me back. I had to extend my rental until Monday.. They fixed the main problem but didn't lookat other concerns or rest my service indicator. I would have had them as my auto mechanic but not now. Also did not fasten my heat shield back in place after replacing the starter. I can't say enough how disappointed I am with this company

I am so impressed. I ended up here after my car died in the middle of an intersection via roadside assistance. They were able to look at my vehicle quickly and were friendly and transparent throughout the process. They even had a biscuit for my dog. :) I may have ended up here by accident but I'll definitely be returning in the future!

Had an amazing first experience with this shop! We just moved into the area and were looking around for a reliable, honest mechanic. After a few duds, we tried Locke St. Tire and are so happy we did! They took good care of the car and even tightened a loose plastic piece for free (other shops could have charged me for this, in my ignorance of the problem). Will go back again for sure!

I had my engine light come on and my car was in EPC mode from the night before. I called Locke auto on king street first thing in the morning as I live right beside it and couldn’t drive my car too far. Rob and Walter took great care of me, told me they would check to see what was wrong with the car and if they couldn’t fix it, they would send it to their sister shop on Locke street. Great guys with great work ethic and great service. I got a call from Rob same day saying my car was good to go. Highly recommend Rob and Walter as well as this business. They know their stuff and they are honest people. Would give 6 stars if I could. Thank you Rob and Walter.

CAA referred us here. We brought my car in and they replaced the battery and gave me an oil change for $400. I left and the engine light was on and car broke down the next day. We got it towed back and the solenoid sensor needed replacing $235 (half of charge was diagnostics which they had charged us for the day before). The next day I’m relieved because my car is fixed and I go to leave for work and car is shaking and sensors are all popping up. We are learning our lesson this time and going elsewhere, won’t be wasting anymore money at Locke St. Tire.

I had a few issues with my car and I was very stressed about what to do and I was reffered here. They were the kindest people and hardest workers. They made sure everything in my car looks brand new again, they took into account every single detail and worked with immense speed. I had my car back in a week which could have ended up being a month repair. I got it done for a good price to! They updated me and informed me of everything going on with the car and they pushed hard to get it done fast and perfectly. I couldn't have been happier over all as it is one of the best autoshops I know and have had experience with. The workers were all super kind and the owners are amazing. I would 100% reccomend this autoshop to anyone if you have issues with your car!

This is hands down the best auto shop I have ever encountered. The service and communication is impeccable. James is alway incredibly helpful and knowledgeable with every job they have handled for me. The pricing is very fair and you just get the feeling they are being honest and not trying to rip you off like other shops. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Use Locke Street Auto for any of your cars service needs.

These fellas are Fantastic! I showed up with a puncture in my tire at 4pm on a Friday afternoon and they went right to work!I had to get to Kingston and they had me fixed and on the road again in no time. They went above and beyond to assist. Thanks to Rob and his crew.. you are Amazing!!Great community garage!
