Lee's Appliance Repair Service

We loved Lee, he has been my parents go-to appliance guy for 15+ years and our go to guy for appliance repairs for 6+ years. He sets realistic expectations for time, will come to your home (depending on the area), and has always done great work. We've never had an issue with any of the repairs he has done on our stove, fridge or dishwasher.

My chest freezer stopped working and within 45 mins of calling for service they were at my house working on it. He said specifically that he didn't want my food to be ruined, which I found very thoughtful. Other locations I called said they could give me an appointment the following day or later. He worked quickly and the pricing was very very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone and definitely found himself a repeat customer.

Poor Service. As a busy property manager I don't have time to run around and babysit every trade at each location. It is great when you can call a service person with an address and what has to be done, they do it send you the invoice and you pay them. But not in this case Mr. Lee expects you to meet him at every location because he is afraid of not getting paid. I have given him plenty of business over the years but no more.

I bought a used 3 yr old stainless steel front Frigidaire fridge (in allegedly good running condition, delivered) through Kijiji from a man in Findlay Creek area, Ottawa in Sept. 2017. He delivered the fridge on its' side in an rusted old pickup truck therefore it had to sit upright for a day at my house before I could plug it in. When I plugged it in the evaporator motor did not work. I had suspicions about the integrity of the seller (based on what he said about why he was selling the fridge) but by the time I tried to contact him he was long gone - the ad was removed, & there was no response to texts. (I'm writing this bit as a warning because I think there is a scammer working from the Findlay Creek area)However my story takes a turn for the better as soon as I called up Lee's Appliance Repair. Mr. Lee came to my house on time the next day after I called & went straight to work, diagnosed & repaired the fridge very quick, & also had the needed evaporator motor part with him. I had the fridge for a very short time so I was not able to give much help to diagnosing the problem but Mr. Lee is very competent so he knew exactly what to do. He was very personable, but not chatty, & did a great job. I now have a nice looking fridge that works perfectly for $250 Kijiji cost plus $118 for repairs. Mr Lee was very accommodating in that while he was at the house he took on the additional job of switching the door handle to a left side door opening. I would recommend Lee's Appliance Service very highlyDec 2018 Dryer stopped workingI called Lees Appliances to report a dryer that stopped working. It was a Monday early AM so the repair was done that afternoon A replacement part for the non functioning starter was put in place. In about 30 minutes the dryer was diagnosed, the part was brought in from the service vehicle, the dryer was taken apart, the part was put in and I had a functioning dryer again for about $100 all included , I would recommend Mr Lee as competent, quick and great at what he does.

Lee’s price is very reasonable. We called him Monday and he was able to come Tuesday to repair our freezer fan motor. He had the motor in his work van which was amazing- no need to wait for an order. He gave us a time frame for when he would come and was within it. Would recommend his services to anyone.

Excellent, efficient service at an honest price. He found the problem with my fridge immediately and had replacement part already in his van and repaired quickly. Much appreciated and would definitely use his services again!

Mr. Lee was recommended by a relative. She told me that her neighbor had used Mr. Lee for service in the past and was very happy with his work and price. I called Mr. Lee and explained what happened to my high priced 36 Electrolux range

Have to give the lowest rating. He expects to see you waiting there and have a parking lot for him when he arrives, but without telling you this information beforehand. If you don’t behave as expected, or late for a few minutes, then he just cancels the appointment and goes away by ignoring all your calls and messages. How rude it is.

I've called Mr. Lee twice now for appliance repairs, once for a stove and again just before Christmas for a fridge.In both cases he quickly identified the problem. The stove was fixed with an ordered part and the fridge he was able to fix with a part in his vehicle in under 30 minutes.Both times his prices have been very reasonable, and he's quick to respond.I will continue recommending and using Mr. Lee's services in the future.

Great service, fast, polite and was able to fix my dishwasher within 30 minutes.
