Morgan Arboretum
A nice place for a walk along the trails. Quiet and serene, nature left to itself. The RASC has an observatory that is open for member events, and certain public events too. Check their website for upcoming events.

There should be more places this beautiful. Plenty of parking. Great place to walk a dog. Washrooms on location. Also has a giant telescope for stargazing.

Nice bathroom, lovely trails. Definitely recommend going for cross country skiing or when the flowers are in bloom.

A gorgeous place to go for a walk, picnic, just relax.Dogs are allowed on a leash.You must pay an entrance fee. Lots of available parking.Some paths are extremely well maintained and flat, while other are more rough and uneven.

Very nice and easy to follow trail. Just so peaceful to connect with nature. Well marked and maintained. Don’t forget your bug spray :)

A really beautiful spot not far from the city! The trails are well maintained and marked, and you get to walk a variety of different types of forest. On the main trail there were almost no mosquitoes, which was great, although I do still recommend to wear bug spray.The best thing is the amount of wildlife you can find. I went to bird watch and saw more than one rare species on my first visit! Also prepare to meet lots of chipmunks and red squirrels!

Nice place to ski in winter and walk in summer. Bring a bug jacket in June or July, though. Great groomed runs for skiing. Dogs allowed off leash but must be tested ahead of time (2-3 tests occur per year). Easy to find lots of salamanders, frogs and birds.
