Bought lunch for me and my friends, felt embarrassed afterwards when we started eating it. If you like chicken that tastes bland, and chewy, potatoes that taste old, and rice that taste like leftovers from yesterday’s portions that could not be sold, by all means, go to this place. I should have paid attention to the negative reviews here instead. There are far better options for Portuguese food in Toronto.

We ordered catering for our xmas party. Food arrived very warm in their hot box. We tried both the grilled and rotisserie chicken, was well basted and juicy. Aside from that we gave their roast beef a try, extremely tender. Also, gotta love the rice. Very soft and well flavoured! Try their olives and greek salad!!

The guy at the counter was extremely rude to my girlfriend when she went to pick up her order because she arrived “too close” to closing time. From reading other reviews it looks like this guy needs to get a job where he’s not dealing with the public. The chicken was lukewarm.

We stopped in for a Portuguese chicken dinner to take home, but in between normal dinner times. The food was fine and the couple were friendly and helpful. I might go back again, but maybe I was spoiled by my old favourite place in Brampton.

The people the serve here are very rude and unprofessional. Will not be going back. I was deciding what to get and was told to hurry up and was told by some worker “do you what something or not!” Feels like they do not want to be there.Anyways I still went ahead and got a whole chicken, rice and potatoes and it didn’t even taste great. Not flavour. The Costa Verde across the street was way better.I will not return.

Love their food! I bought the whole chicken with rice, potatoes(very good portions) The old guy was very kind, he gave us extra chicken for my dog to have some too. We always go here whenever we want Portuguese chicken ☺️PS. To those leaving reviews about how they chop the chicken is so uncultured because that’s usually what my country does (in Philippines) and it’s not a choking hazard as long as you know how to eat! Y’all are dramatic

The shrimp rice is old and tasted spoiled. Please be careful and ask if fresh before buying!. Did not enjoy it!.

Went to get lunch for 5. Bought grill chicken, rice, salad and potatoes. Chicken smelled old and it looked very dry. He cut it and put in bad quickly while I was looking at rice. Hubby said that it was from day before. Go ahead and buy if you like costly old chicken.

Worst Portuguese chicken in the city. If you want dry chicken go here. Swiss chalet serving better chicken than this place. The old man in the front is very rude. Never will I buy from this place again.

Disgusting service! They get 0 stars because of how disgusting it is! The worker tried to give me stale chicken from another order that wasn't picked up. He then dropped one of the chickens on the floor and picked it up, put it on a plate instead of throwing it out. Then he didn't even wash his hands before touching another piece of chicken and placing it in the packaging. I just walked out because I was disgusted. How did this place even get a 4.1 rating? It isn't sanitary!
