My experience with David Maltby Law Office has been beyond satisfactory. Emily VanLooyen and her assistant Sharon have been professional, informative and timely in all aspects. They have been supportive and understanding in moments where I have been overwhelmed and anxious. I strongly recommend Emily for any of your family law matters.

I gave a 5 star review because Cassandra Bruni was a really good lawyer for me and my family matter. She was professional all the time, informed me of all my rights, answered any question no matter how ridiculous I thought it was, explained in details from all aspects of the case, and was very responsive to me and my matter. I would choose Cassandra Bruni again if I had to, but under the circumstances I hope I don't have to again. Thank you Cassandra.

My partner hired David Maltby and got Emily Van Looyen. She failed to hear or at the least LISTEN to my partner's issues and needs. She provided one of the most SHODDY Orders, neglecting to correct vague issues on a Court Order, thereby neglecting to protect her own client. This has put him in ghe position of having to pay out more than $100k in $$$ , costs, and legal fees.DO NOT use this firm. She never even bothered to notify my partner that he could appeal within 30-days of her shoddy work. His ex received MORE years in pension$$$ than entitled, and she refused to understand certain issues with regard to withheld access resulting in a fairly permanent estrangement between father and son. We HIRE legal professionals to protect us, not the other party.

Cassandra Bruni is NOT recommended in a family litigation case! She gave no notice and left me with my case in the middle of it and to find a new LAO Solicitor, due to changing firms.Working with Cassandra she REFUSED to fight for my rights (told me I didn't have any rights because I moved cities) and told me she will ONLY fight for weekly to have access to my child that is being with held from me by her father who pawns her off everywhere else....Cassandra also refuses to listen to the side of her partys story and acknowledge the safety concerns with the other party.Unfortunately this lawyer shows shes in it just for the money and doesn't care about the out come of your case or your rights...

Absolute joke of a Law Office. We used David Maltby's lawyers in a family litigation, which ended up being resolved in August 2020 - we still do not have the correct court documents. The documents had errors and spelling mistakes all over them. When we reached out to them to advise them of these errors, they claimed that they were not their fault and we should go direct to the Court House. At this point, nothing has been rectified and they now do not return any of our phone calls/emails.Save yourself the headache and use someone else.
