Ontario Diagnostic Centres X-Ray & Ultrasound

The ultra sound tech was extremely rude and unprofessional. I put my phone down on the desk for a moment while I took my coat off, and she told me that I couldn’t put my phone there. I apologized and told her it was only for a second while my hands were busy. I then hung my coat up on the back of the door and she told me I couldn’t hang my coat up because the door was “contaminated” and that I had to keep my coat with me on the bed. She did not drape me well before the ultrasound and got gel all over my sweater. As I was leaving, she had the audacity to ask me to take the towel out with me and dispose of it in the wash basket. Coming from someone who also works in a clinical setting, I can tell you this is NOT how you treat patients.

My review of 1 star is due to the front desk staff. The x ray technician was very good so 5 stars for her. However the front desk lady charged me 20$ in cash for getting the image written on a cd. I've been to other ODC locations and never had to pay and the staff are always happy to provide the image on a cd as my own copy. However the lady here claimed it's free only if the requesting doctor has asked for it, which is a ridiculous reason I've never heard before ( the requesting doctor always gets the image/report, so why will they even ask the patient to get the cd). I told her I can pay via debit card but she insisted only cash which seems to indicate its a scam, as there's no trace of paying the money

My experience with the technician Farhana Khalid was beyond what I expected for my ultrasound. She is very experienced, explains things well and most importantly she is very THOROUGH with her ultrasound investigations. She sets a very high standard of making sure the imaging for her patients is of most excellent quality. If I ever need repeat testing, I will be going to her from now on.

Pathetic centre. The centre was supposed to be opened till 4 pm today but the technician denied my husband's xray at 3 pm because he will leave around 3:30 pm. My husband travelled all the way long with his broken finger for the x ray and at that moment they are deferring patients like that, adding more troubles ! Inhuman service

Got a dr req, booked an ultrasound appointment. Showed up. They refused to do it. No good reason. Booking staff are rude, incompetent and lack knowledge. The technician was even worse just flat refused to do the ultrasound as ordered. . DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE AWFUL

The techs have a lack of respect for human dignity and you are railroaded through like cattle. No regard given to previous injuries or disabilities. I will NEVER go back there again. Please do yourself a favour and chose another place to get you test done. There are lots around to choose from. The 2.7/5 rating I last saw should warn you. It is real, read the reviews. Thank you

The clinic is speedy, professional and friendly. Gautam (named after Buddha), organized my urgent X-Ray in a few minutes. Thank you Gautam, and thanks to everyone.

The receptionist who assists with booking appointments is known for being consistently rude, and she also has a noticeable accent when speaking. It can be frustrating when their accent makes it difficult to understand what they are saying. Additionally, their bad attitude towards others can further worsen the situation. In this case, it would be beneficial for the receptionist to practice English pronunciation to improve communication with customers. They should also be made aware that phrases like Can I help you?" and "Have a nice day" are commonly used in Canadian customer service and should be incorporated into their interactions. By learning and adopting a true Canadian attitude for service

Had my pregnancy dating ultrasound appointment done here and it was great! Tech was experienced and let me see the images on the screen several times, and let my husband attend at the end. Did not feel rushed at all during the appointment! Their facilities are under renovation, but the rooms seemed clean.

I love everthing, every doctor was nice, but the front desk ruin my day.
