Pros:The sashimi is fresh, and the food presentation is beautiful.Cons:The price is around $20-30 for the don,the portions are way too small !!!( they cut sashimi in lots of small pieces so makes you feel like a lot)Not really worth it.

Definitely a treat as their bowls weren't cheap, but solid. I ordered the Aburi Don to go and it was delicious. Fair portions and well seasoned rice. Came for 7pm on a Friday and there was seating available.Would recommend and comeback

This place is actually pretty good. Portion and price about right. Selection is a bit crowded. They have dons and fried items and sushi rolls. Should focus on doing couple of things well. But no real complain about quality. Servers are polite and courteous.

Service from the waiters and waitresses was great. Food came in an orderly manner.If you ordered appetizers, you would get them first and when you're about done, the others will come. Good timing.Would come again!

Nice open environment with welcoming staffPortion size and food quality is very good. My Gyu Don was filling although i found the beef a tad stringy / chewy. My partner found their Chicken Teriyaki a tad on the salty side but the restaurant was quick to remedy the situationOverall a nice place and would visit againHana Don is located outside the mall facing Sheppard Avenue (on the side with the Hibachi and St Louis Wings)Don't forget to bring cash Monday to Thursday (excluding weekends and holidays) for 5% off the tab

I like the rice set that you can freely choose 3 toppings. I chose Salmon, Lean Tuna and Albacore Tuna. The crispy chicken appetizer tasted good. The beef was nicely cooked but not as tender as I think.I came again and again......The rolls were delicious.The fried chicken with cheese was so tummy surprisingly.Highly recommend the spicy tuna roll. Tasty!If you go there to have lunch, the price is attractive. Curry rice was very tasty.

Finally got to try Hana Don myself after hearing mixed reviews from everyone. I got the Deluxe Bara Don and my boyfriend got the Gyudon. The Deluxe Bara Don was fresh and delicious I was stuffed after finishing it! The only thing I wish was that there could be a little bit more uni.I didn’t try the Gyudon but my boyfriend enjoyed it. There was a good amount of beef and rice, the dish was piping hot when it came out and he said it was very filling.The servers there were very nice and attentive. They always came and refilled our waters and took our empty plates away. Will definitely come back to try their other bowls!

It was just an amazing experience having dinner at Hana Don.Although it wasn’t planned, but I am happy I decided to go to this place for dinner.I enjoyed all the dishes I ordered, soup, appetizers and the Sushi was really amazing.I will definitely be coming back again whenever I will be around in the area and will also bring my family and friends over.The staff were really amazing, very welcoming and highly friendly.
