I am very content with the results of my recent auction with Steve. Our items were well presented and we have no hesitation to use his services in the future. Auction bids are only as good as there exists interested buyers at any given time. Pritchard Auction helped me downsize my collections better than any yard sale ever could.

Pritchard Auctions has served me well over the years, both as buyer and seller. The staff are awesome, and maintain professionalism when faced with negative and sometimes difficult situations. Keep up the Great work!

As someone who runs a tiny business and purchases from auctions mostly for stock, Pritchard Auctions is one of the best out there. Always quality items and no surprises when you get home to unwrap your treasures. That’s soooo refreshing. Both owners (husband and wife) are really nice and helpful.

Drove an hour to pick up an item I won and they did not have it. The lady in the office was apologetic and sincere but could not do anything other then offer a refund. I do not think the gentleman on site really cared about the inconvenience it caused me. That said they have good multiple pictures of products online and they respond well to inquiries. That is why it is a three star and not less.

I wish I could offer less than 1 star as rating but, yet I'm disappointed again. I just hope this review is read by someone who's expecting a mediocre return but will no doubt be massively disappointed as my family was when we offered everything from complete bedrooms to leather watches. We were lead to believe sooooo much more than we 'received'. It COST us money to have Pritchard Auctions sell or property. AVOID AT ALL COST. It's nice that a relative can offer a 5 star rating but I wish I could redo my experience. They would NOT be involved!

I have been attending auction for many years and it's always a surprise what things sell for. I have seen couches go for a dollar and teacups go for $1000. That's what's fun about auctions. You just never know. In my experience Steve of Pritchard Auctions is one of the fairest most honest auctioneers around. Plus his auctions are just plain fun. Oh yeah and I have got some amazing deals. Never miss one.

I’ve been buying at Pritchard Auctions for years. I’ve always had positive experiences at the in person and online auctions. Items I buy are as described and the staff are always willing to answer any questions I have about an item.

So very disappointed with our second experience using this auction business. As seniors who are downsizing from a 3600 sq. ft house, we had a truckload of quality pieces, from a quarter-sawn oak dining room set to a Craftsman dinette, oak dressers, china, glassware and collectibles. By the time we paid for photography and the movers' fee (recommended by the auctioneer), we made no money. The only people who did were the auctioneer and the mover. For families clearing out an estate, this may be the expedient way to go, but for couples (especially seniors who are downsizing), we cannot in good conscience recommend sacrificing a lifetime of valuables for what amounted to garage sale prices. A heartbreaking experience and one we hope others will avoid. For the amount of time we spent preparing and organizing our goods to facilitate things for the movers, we would have been better off using that time to coordinate our own garage sale. Rather than see others' efforts go unrewarded, we suggest you consider holding your own sale or making use of consignment shops.

Pritchard Auctions uses a shill bidder to drive up prices on the online auction side which is illegal. Earlier in the day, I bid on three very different items placing the winning bid and then a max bid well above with a very random amount. When I checked in hours later, all three were now at the max bid amount. When I checked the other bids, it was the same bidder who bid exactly one dollar under my max. I then checked dozens of other items of any significant value to find the same thing happened with them. The same bidder, exactly one dollar under everything and coincidentally not winning anything themself.

I am taking a moment to point out that auctioneers work for the most part on a commission basis. They get a piece of every dollar that a given item may bring at auction and therefore try to get every dollar possible.The auctioneer may suggest a value for an item but ultimately the bidders place the value on each item.
