Vancouver Writers Fest
Disappointed! I purchased tickets to Between the Pages: An Evening with the Scotiabank Giller Prize Finalists for myself and 2 friends. At the last minute they announced 2 of the 5 authors would not be attending. Since the event was no longer as advertised and of no interest to us I requested a refund. They refused. Nor did they offer to substitute anything else. I think this is poor community relations. I have attended events at the Writers Fest previously but will re-consider in the future because of their bait-and-switch tactics.

“”Thrills And Chills”” event performance by 3 exceptional writers—Stephen Chbosky, Nathan Ridley and Robyn Harding-was held at the Revue Stage Theatre..these suspense writers explore their narratives which support the readers exploration of just can’t put the book down ..their literary craft kept the audience involved at a high level of interest and engagement..a much appreciated effort by these exceptional writers...
