First time coming here and I’m definitely coming back. I ordered the Aburi Sushi and it was delicious. The rice was made just right with perfect flavouring and the fish was fresh. I also ordered a bulgogi don and green salad which I haven’t tried yet. The staff were all super nice and greeted me when I entered and when I was leaving. The staff also made a recommendation for my next visit and greeted me by my name. Food was made promptly with my online order. It’s great to have a good neighbourhood sushi place! I will be a regular.

The first time I ordered from this place, extremely satisfied with the nigiri and aburi sushi. Ordered again today but the quality of the sushi and maki was worse than AYCE restaurants and shopping mall sushi joints. The rice was so hard, as though it has been refrigerated the entire afternoon. The thin pieces of fish were breaking, and there was no topping/sauce for any of the sushi. The spicy salmon maki was drenched in spicy sauce instead of a nice touch of drizzle. If they can even get the rice right, how can I even trust that they use sashimi grade fish or store the fish properly. We had a craving for sushi and this meal thoroughly disappointed us. I usually don’t write reviews but what we got was simply unacceptable.

The staff who greeted us was very enthusiastic. This is mainly a takeout restaurant. There's a small table for dine in. The food is, well, satisfactory.

Visited on Wednesday, July 9th, ordered takeout ahead of time - 2:30PMCalled to order - customer service was knowledgeable and very friendly.Ordered -Lunch G Beef Teriyaki with Gyoza - $15.95Lunch E Chicken Teriyaki with Gyoza -$12.95Crazy Salmon Combo -$15.45Shrimp Tempura (6 pieces) x 2 -$17.90Veggie Gyoza (6 pieces) -$5.45And at the time took advantage of the 20% Off paying by Cash.I very much enjoyed the Beef Terjyaki Lunch Combo - one thing I did notice was that with it being cooked sous vide I did find it difficult to bite into and into smaller pieces. I was basically forced to eat each slice whole instead if two smaller pieces.Obviously this is not a problem for some people but I like smaller pieces so I'm not potentially choking on it.Alternatively I could have cut it with a knife or scissors.Just something to note if you like eating your steak in smaller pieces.Otherwise, very good highly recommend - love when steak isn't overcooked to death. (I always get extra teriyaki sauce on the side). No comments on the chicken teriyaki or Veggie gyoza as I ordered it for someone else. I'm sure it was still very good. The tempura I was surprised. It wasn't prepared in the typical Japanese tempura style and also had a spicy mayo sauce instead of the liquid tempura sauce. The miso soup didn't taste like much and also had a ton of other veg which I didn't really want so probably better off just making miso soup at home.Having a small stomach capacity I very much enjoyed the Crazy Salmon Combo and will definitely be ordering it again. The rolls, the sushi and sashimi were fresh and wonderful.I will definitely be trying out a small platter of their sushi and sashimi next time.Service was quick, again customer service was very friendly - a definite try if you're in the area. Will definitely be adding this to one of my go to Japanese places if I'm ever having a craving and will be recommending to my friends in the area.4/5 Stars for me :)

The best sushi that I've ever had in the last couple of years! I live in downtown Toronto, but went all the way to Richmond for this newly opened sushi restaurant, as my friend highly recommend. Great quality, reasonable price, and kind staff. A little bit of improvement for their miso soup is needed. I will visit again definitely.

We had a crazy salmon combo for our first visit. My son wants to have grilled salmon sushi that wasn't on the menu. The chef kindly served us as we wanted. The food quality was excellent. We've tried many restaurants' grilled salmon sushi but this restaurant serves one of the tops. Torched salmon was just perfect not dried not hard slight flamed on the surface, salmon sashimi was not oily, and the texture was tender! The crispy salmon roll was crispy and I liked the most that I couldn't smell of old tempura flakes from the inside filling! All was nice and freshStaffs were very nice and friendlyGoing back for more and highly recommend it!!!

I am coming back to comment again after the recent changes in ownership. i ordered the large roll platter and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for a good and reasonable price.52 pieces of sushi roll for 55(?)dollars not regular small maki, they were all special rolls, avocado on top, salmon ontop)Spider Roll had real soft shell crab! Very nice.
