Fabulous service however some food items not.Chicken balls were terrific ~ very yummyAll our chicken fried rice was so unpleasant and wasn't eaten after sampling. We so wanted to enjoy a nice fried rice! It is very very very upsetting to trash any food and rice is 50% of our selections!Vegetables in the combo were tasty and we longed for more..the sesame chicken for our tastes was massively too sweet. I rinsed off the sauce and put chicken pieces under the broiler because I couldn't mix it with the unpleasant rice.Egg rolls were fresh 'n hot ~yummy!$25 for this all comes up as an expensive experiment trying a positively reviewed restaurant. 25$!Response to Owner replyI appreciate your restaurant reviews attention; it shows you care what is experienced.If we had dined in we could have inquired/ made comment. This place is absolute garbage. I just ate there and it's one of the worst, if not the worst Asian food place that I have ever seen. I ordered chicken chow mein and they gave me sprouts instead. we went at lunch time and there was no one there. the decor was stupid. there are mirrors all over, probably put in place to make us judge ourselves for choosing such a horrible place. I can't get the wretched taste of sprouts out of my mouth. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...wish I can give a 0 star but 1 is the minimum. 0/5. Very disappointed. I just wanted to eat some noodles...

The Best food and Take-out service around. The staff is very friendly and the food is top notch. I highly recommend Mr.Wok especially for larger gatherings and family dinners. The selection is incredible. I'll definately keep coming back.

Worst take out everJust moved to KW and looking for good take out places.Called in the order. It unfriendly and got transferred to someone?? No idea of pricel E as expecting good food.Food was cold. Everything was over breaded, chicken fried rice was just rice, a tiny bit of soya sauce and had to hunt for chicken.Lemon chicken, was fried bread with a tiny sliver of dried out chicken. Ribs were nothing but bone and griddle. Even the dog wouldn’t touch it. Spring rolls were soggy and overcooked. Fried shrimp were heavy and soggy$90 for fried COLD food that ended up in the garbage because even the dog wouldn’t eat it.

This place is garbage. Chicken fried rice and chicken chop suey with absolutely no chicken.rice is old and stale. Qhatta rip off for $14.50 with a drink .stay away

We absolutely love Mr. Wok, some of our favs are the chicken fried rice, chicken wings, egg roll and I believe they have the absolute best bbq pork in town. The flavour and texture of the bbq pork is perfect, the char they put on it is so good! The service is also really great, such a nice family owned business. We love their restaurant but trust me and get that pork! If you don't eat pork the chicken wings are yummy and so is the chop suey and noodles!

Overall great! Had vegetable lo mein and mushroom fried rice, very good. Chicken balls were really big - we prefer smaller with less batter, but still, were good. Wife liked egg rolls but husband didn't.

Nice little clean Chinese food restaurant. Prices were very reasonable. That said, the food seemed a little bland. Not awful, but I think a little more seasoning might have helped.Except for the Hot and Sour soup. Sweet jumping jehoshaphat! That is one spicy hot soup! I'm afraid it was a trifle too hot for our palates. But if you like your food super spicy, try their soup.That said, there's plenty of parking, the place is very clean, and the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Portions were generous; the containers couldn't hold any more!

Check your take our combo platters before leaving the restaurant. Both of our orders had no sweet and sour sauce. A very dry meal.Update: Mistakes happen. It is how businesses handle those errors that gives the customer true insight into the quality of their enterprise. Today I received a gracious apology, great service and excellent food. Still the best Chinese food in Kitchener.
