The Station Public House
We took our Dad to The Station for his birthday. We had dinner in one of the dining globes. The fireplace and lights around the globe were a beautiful setting to have dinner. Inside the globe we fit 5 of us around the table comfortably and the heaters inside made the inside warm and all that was needed was a sweater to feel warm, although the Pub supplies blankets to wrap up in if needed. The food was amazing and the restaurant gave Dad a very generous and delicious piece of chocolate cake that was big enough to send around the table several times so we all could enjoy it. We would like to say a very special thank you to our server Shay. She took such good care of us throughout the evening and even took pictures for us all to remember Dad’s special day. Also a huge thank you to Neil who took the time to give some of us a tour of the globes prior to the evening and then took time to wish Dad a Happy Birthday. Thank you all, your kindness and attention to detail was much appreciated.

We went here for my birthday dinner while passing through town, the service was awesome, prompt, friendly and attentive. We ordered wings to start - the wings seemed very dry, with a hard crunchy outer skin. The kitchen confirmed they were the new wings that were being supplied. They seemed like they were either overcooked or low quality. We then ordered the fish and chips and the ginger beef bowl, the food came out hot and portions were good. The fish and chips were alright, but ginger beef bowl on the other hand was great. I will be back in the future because if the great service but will try something else and skip the wings!

Our waitress was friendly, patient and attentive. She had a great smile and was knowledgeable. Her pleasant demeanour made our visit more enjoyable.

The food was excellent. They were busy so the service suffered however our server did her best. Wasn't too impressed with the casual dress of the staff. I think it's a bit too casual for the upscale restaurant that it is to have sloppy tank tops with the midriff showing.

What a great place! We went here by chance and were pleasantly surprised that the happy hour was until 10. The atmosphere and staff were fun. The food was amazing. I tried the garlic and mushroom pizza, prosciutto and pear pizza, and the Louisiana chicken sandwich with fries and all were seriously so delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and while she was pulled in all directions by her supervisor, she did a great job serving us and bartending for the whole restaurant! I hope she gets a raise. This place is definitely worth a visit!!

We went for a couple drinks and dinner. Started with the risotto bombs that were suggested by the server. They were delicious! Went on to have the pork stack (ribs, with vegetables and potato), it was pretty good, the pork was a bit dried out but falling off the bone. There was enough sauce on the ribs to still make them enjoyable. We also had the tuna poke, that was delicious. No complaints there! The atmosphere was comfortable, just don't sit under a TV if you don't want to feel like people are staring at you, as some of the TVs come right down to just above head level. Sports playing on all channels, but easy enough to ignore if you're not into that. The reason they're losing a star is because of our server. She was fantastic to start off with and she slowly got less and less attentive and professional as the night went on. Very distracted by the football game and other coworkers.

We were staying at the Ramada and so this place ticked the convenient box, but delighted to find that the quality would have been worth travelling for. We got a table on the patio as we were blessed with late September heat but they have heat lamps too if it gets chilly. The service was prompt and friendly. Pretty typical pub grub but have to give special shout out for two things. First we asked for half/half fries and salad and we split a burger and they were really generous with the sides. We then split the ribs and it has to be said… they were some of the best I’ve ever had. Fall of the bone and lots of meat too. We went for the dry (salt and pepper) and it was a great choice. Kids were delighted with their burgers / fish and chips. Good beer selection too made this a all round good meal.

Fast friendly service. Stay away from the cauliflower appetizer. Just drownded in barbecue sauce it's not good at all the rest was great.
