Stopped by for the first time last Saturday, wasn’t expecting it to serve mini doughnuts but their flavours are really good. Poor staffing, only one person working, and each order was made from scratch which took quite a long time. We waited almost 1/2 hour as there were two orders in front of us. Ventilation could be improved, as you leave smelling of oil.

Your Google listing states delivery. Change it if you don't. And learn how to answer a phone and conduct business properly and professionally because today was not it. You missed out on some good business, I was ready with a big order :(

My first visit was very enjoyable. I ordered a 12pk and was given a couple extra - always a nice surprise! There are a bunch of options to choose from on the board, plus display donuts made to show the finished product. But these are all made fresh! I picked my 3 flavors quickly, but could easily have tried more. I went for the Lemon Blueberry, Coco Loco, and classic Cinnamon Sugar. I behaved myself and only ate 6 right away, but could have done them all. They were surprisingly not too sweet! I think I did appreciate them a bit more cold, as it gave the dough time to thicken and settle. I will definitely be back again!

Drove all the way from Perdue, to 311 cope lane to get an order of doughnuts. It says they are open 10:00am-5:00pm.I arrive at the store, unhook my daughter from her car seat and we both eagerly run towards the store. She is autistic. The store has their flashing “open” sign on. I pull the door. It’s locked. There’s a sign that states they’ll be back in 30 minutes. When I called the store to inquire what’s going on- after 4 tries they finally picked up. They said they had to leave to deliver an order. And said, word for word. “I’ll be back in 10-20 minutes. You can wait, then order.” Very disappointed in this company. I came to you guys all the time when I was pregnant with her. I understand being short staffed. However if that’s the case make sure you don’t try to pretend to still have the store open. It would’ve saved me an outburst, a huge meltdown and a lot of stress. 0/10

(Originally 1 star review)I love the taste of the donuts, and the flavours all work really well. I did however have a “not so ideal” encounter with one of the employees; I listed the situation below, from the original review. I’m editing this because of the owner’s prompt response to seeing my message, and immediately followed up with me, never once seeming like I was being doubted, or a waste of his time. He was very friendly and understanding, and even offered a free x12 pack just as a little bonus apology gift. Because of him, and the fact that I have really loved the donuts in the past, I will continue to do so.(Past review)I’ve been to this place in the past many times. The donuts were hot, fresh, and exactly what I expected. However, the most recent few times I’ve gone, the donuts were not made fresh in front of me, and they weren’t even warm when I got them. When I proceeded to inquire about their temperature to the girl working, she gave an ashamed look, and said they were done right before I walked in. (They weren’t even warm so I doubt it) She asked if I’d like her to make hot ones for me, to which I said “if you can, sure”. She proceeded to then tell me I should ask for them to be hot in the future, and then went back to standing around doing nothing. When I asked if she was going to be making them again (as she herself offered) she said “not this time” and I left. So… not fresh. Not hot. And the customer service that was attempting to be applied was immediately taken back, and was 100% meaningless, and not worth my time. Oh, and.. I got a lecture out of it!

I had the Nutella Dream donuts and a blue raspberry drink. It was delicious! They even make the donuts in front of you (this part is awesome) deepfried and all! On top of the deep frying being done in front of me, the worker whipped out a fresh box of strawberries to cut and put on top of the donuts! Cant get better than fresh cut fruit in my opinion. I will absolutely be back !

Mmm tiny tasty donuts. Very light and soft, just melts in your mouth. Pretty sweet but very delicious. I recommend lemon blueberry because the tartness of fruit adds magnificent flavour which isn't overly sweet.

Prairie Doughnut sells mini doughnuts all year round, and you need them! Don’t you ever just get a craving for a treat you can only get at the Ex/county fair/circus once a year? Including the delicious, tiny, greasy mini doughnuts? Well go check this place out. You can choose the old fashioned original ones with sugar/cinnamon or you can choose from the huge menu of specialty flavours. They are a great treat to pick up when heading to a gathering at a friends. Making this review is making my stomach rumble and my mouth salivate lol.More people need to know about this locally owned doughnut shop.
