East Beach

Great walking paths and a fantastic place to watch the sunset. It is right next to the train tracks, so it's fun when the train passes by. The views are great at any time of day and all the trees have small white lights in them to add to the atmosphere once it gets dark. During the day and when the tide is out, this is a great place to explore and play.

Spectacular views, amazing sunsets! Unfortunately the tide didn't go out until after dark but we won the consolation prize of watching the sun sink into the ocean. Great community, constant activity, and people during our December visit

Had a beautiful walk by the water this past weekend!!Even through the pandemic, people were distancing, and respecting the space.It was such a beautiful beach, I just love the White Rock area!!

Beautiful view here! So lovely it should be shared with the whole family.

It is a beautiful and quiet beach but not swimming there and good for parachute skydiving, choice of cafe, restaurants.I was there on weekday, if on weekends or holidays it is not easy to find a parking.

It’s good, a lot of space for sitting and chilling but not the best!

It is a great place to take a stroll when getting something to eat from the strip. It is especially romantic during dusk and the sky is all orange and red and the cloud looks like they are on fire. However, most people are not doing social distancing note were wearing a mask.

I liked the placeReason of 4 star just because it was too crowded in time of COVID that it scared me. It took 15 minutes to get the parking.Those who are visiting Canada and going there must know it’s not dry sand beach so plan accordingly.Lots of crabs in water at the right side of pier.Left side of pier is better than right.To photographers I suggest to shoot from right side. For better colors. For people and for landscape shoot from left to right at sunset time.Water level increase very fast after sunset so be wise if you’re inside.Washrooms were clean and was not too busy according to the crowd there.Nearby good for shopping and eating.Maximum busy places are take away and icecream parlor.

Our friends invited us out here to let the kids have fun. They grew up in the area and were extremely familiar with the best spots.This place is amazing. We came during low tide, and the water receded so far out. This left so much sand for the kids to explore and play around. The kids found plenty of seashells, fishes, and shrimps. 3 hours zipped by so quickly with all the fun we had.
