Creative Stairs & Railings

I highly recommend Creative Stairs and Railing. They replaced a set of existing stairs in my home. The workmanship is high quality and Maged was very professional, responsive and had the work done ahead of schedule. He has a wide variety of spindles and newel posts to choose from. He was able to remove my existing stairs and replace them all in the same day. I am very satisfied with the final product.

We contacted Maged after seeing all the 5 star reviews and hoping he will be able to provide some creative ideas for our new home as his company name - Creative stairs and railing. We met him twice, at his workshop and our house. First time when we met him, he mentioned our house is small like a box, and right after, he was talking about his son has a big house down the street. Well, good for him. Although his words hurt my feeling a little bit as a person who was excited to move in to a new home and do all the fun Reno, but I didn’t take his words too serious. Second time when we met him, he came to our house to check the existing stairs, can’t believe the first thing he mentioned was again “I told you! the house is small like a box” (Compare to our first new built house before this one, it is smaller as we chose to downsizing, but it’s actually not that small. We heard from other contractors who came in to our 2 story house for different projects that it’s a beautiful house) I said to him, it’s more than enough for a small family of 4. He continue talking about how small the house is. At that point, it was not cool. I told him “isn’t 90s house mostly like this?” Then he stopped. Then he told us unfortunately he can’t do anything. I don’t like to think he is a bad person, but certain things you just don’t have to say as a professional and decent human being. Not all people can afford millions of dollars of big houses, especially at young age in this market. My husband, a 6”2 man grew up in a smaller house with 3 other family members just fine. Whether you don’t have creative solutions, or it’s not an easy job you like to do, or you are good enough to only work with “big” houses, whatever it is, even he might not mean to hurt our feeling, it is just unnecessary and not kind to say things like that. We truly approached him with kindness, hope, and trust in his ability, it’s just a bit disappointed the way he delivers his non-solution and unprofessionalism.

The attention to detail is often not found this day in age. The work they did was amazing fast clean I couldn’t have asked for better workmanship. He is truly a artist at his trade. I wish I had found him years ago. I will post more pictures when the stain is done I highly recommend him and his team. They did our whole job in a day and 1/2 not only did he return our phone call he came when he said he would with no delays unheard of these days. If you have a new or old home call them price very reasonable for the workmanship they do!!

Best carpenter ever. Maged was perfection, efficient, punctual and clean. He helped with product selection and coordinated painter/stainer as well. Everything was completed with utmost precision. Don’t go anywhere else to redo your stairs, spindles and railingAmazing before and after. …

To deal with Maged at Creative Stairs & Railing was an absolute pleasure, he was prompt, easy to work with and his work far exceeded our expectations. He took the time to come out a few times to our home and give ideas / solutions for our railing and turned it into something amazing. Today we had our new railing installed by Maged, the owner of Creative Stairs and Railings. We are beyond pleased with the results so far! In these times it's not an easy task to find someone as dedicated and passionate about their craftsmanship as Maged. He has taken a 25 yr old oak staircase and transformed it into a modern updated style to complement the renovations we are doing in our home. He assisted us in finding a team to sand and refinish the staircase and we are excited for that work to be completed in a couple weeks!.This company provides excellent customer service, takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what your looking for.
