After hearing really great things from others, I signed up for the intro to Adventure Riding intro course with Amaruq. The course consists of a 1.5 zoom course the evening (or two) beforehand to cover some of the theory and instruction so you're not wasting valuable time day-of, and then a very full 8+ hour day on the bike. It's incredible how much I learned in that day, and how quickly I gained confidence. I went in with practically zero off-pavement experience, by 1030am he was instructing us on skills that I said I 100% would not be able to do" and by 1130am I was performing those skills not only in the drills but on the actual course in a real-life setting.
