Shoppers Drug Mart

The only reason I go to this pharmacy is because they are close and have good hours. I have to call to make sure my faxed RX has been filled first so I don't waste my time (all drs also warn their patients of this issue with this location as well). I dread having to go and pick up one of many prescriptions or talk to them. All of those in the pharmacy are the rudest most unprofessional and incompetent pharmacists I've ever encountered. They mock customers when they think they are out of earshot, they are impatient and unwelcoming. Sorry to interrupt your day with my inconvenient requirement to pick up my RX. If it's a new RX, I decline the offer to talk to a pharmacist BC I know it's going to be a rude impatient experience. I'm at that point where I want to pull all and send future elsewhere (not a shoppers). UPDATE:. I have since switched all to Telus Virtual Pharmacy. Really happy with it. No more trips to the pharmacy since all is delivered to home within 24hrs and I can do all from the app. Very friendly pharmacists and quick access if needed to talk to.

This is about the pharmacy prescription allert app it is completely useless. You would think they could get a system like that now adays to work proper. Now the pharmacist just use that as thier excuse now

I wish I didn't have to post this but here goes . While I was paying two of the employees started to talk ( not in English) I said can you please speak English. The supervisor looks at me and says we can speak in any language we want to infromt of customers. Kind of was like okay . Either the supervisor woke up In a bad mood . Does not have proper customer service especially when communicating

I was having a conversation with my husband and the pharmacist mixed into my conversation. He was extremely rude and escalated a situation that could of been avoidance. Completly childish. I will take my business elsewhere.

I have had very bad experiences at this shoppers drug mart. And i am still in shock how racism still exists in today’s world, like common. I dont want to be rude or pointing fingers but have to say that Emily in cosmetics department is very rude to people of color, not just me some of my other friends have experienced the same thing. I went there to buy perfume and asked for her help, at first she did not acknowledged me at all, and then when i asked for help, i could tell from her face she did not wanted to help me. Anyways i got my perfume and started looking for other stuff i wanted. Meanwhile another customer walked in she was a person of color too, Emily literally rolled her eyes after looking at her, but she was fine helping other people. Then I realized she might have a grudge against brown community. But this is 2023 so please grow up and do not spread hate. Worst customer service ever.

There are a few pharmacists who work here, most of them are all right, but there is one particular male pharmacist who is extremely rude every single time I have to deal with him and very unwilling to help or solve any kind of problem that might come up.

Male pharmacist working tonight was extremely rude. We went 20 min before closing. Instead of just letting us know that they didn’t have enough time to make out medication he started raising his voice and started telling us you had 3 days since you had the prescription you should have came earlier we explained him due to 12 hours work situation we should but we are here 20 min before you closed. as customers should be expected to be help until last open hours provided. He could have simply refused to serve us but instead his voice of a time was nasty I would hate to be interacted with a person like that in my life just makes anyones day of full. I hope I don’t have to deal with him again anywhere.

Yesterday after I did the self checkout I realized I never got my seniors discount or my 10,000 points. I went to the counter and the young lady there was so polite and so helpful and made all the changes to get my discounts. Always had fantastic service here

I went in there today because I have the worst cold/flu of my life. I needed cough syrup and I called earlier to ask about it. I had no voice, haven’t slept in 3 days and I felt like a walking corpse. This girl who helped me in pharmacy, she had short hair I think glasses, you made my day. She talked to me like I was a human not the corpse I was feeling, she was upbeat, so friendly, we chatted (with my non existent voice about how their key pads looked like touch screens) anyway after not leaving my bed for days and being so deathly ill, my first human interaction was the best. She’s been on my mind and I just wanted to say thank you! Before when I have gone to other pharmacy’s when I have been sick I have been given dirty looks and rushed out as soon as possible. Unfortunately sometimes I need to get medicine myself. Anyway! Shout out to you! Keep being awesome.
