Extremely helpful staff. We had special no scent requirements which we communicated ahead of time. They were very responsive to my calls and did a great job helping us get the car as scent free as possible.

I had the privilege of being helped by Sara, and her help was the highlight of my day after a long travel day with endless poor service from other areas.Sara was positive, knowledgeable and efficient. In a less than ten minutes of interaction, she answered all my questions, processed all necessary documents efficiently, and explained all we had to know clearly.Thank you so much for being you. An Update I was Contacted and Received A refund in a timely manner, I look forward to the next time I have to rent a car. Not happy, rented a car for a week, paying an arm and a leg for it and it over heated leaking coolant, was 3 hours away from where it was picked up, lost 3 days of vacation because I was worried about driving it with a leak, took back on day 4 wasting half a day, Not Impressed, I will Never Rent Again From this company, and I recommend anyone looking to rent ,before leaving with car check all fluid levels , Just disgusting

Not a good June 2023 rental experience. Arrived at Halifax airport at 1:30 AM. An on-time flight with a pre-scheduled vehicle set up on the Avis website. We arrived at the Avis counter, and no one was there costing me a hotel night waiting for Avis personnel to return to work at 6:00 AM. I've been a preferred member for over 20 years; this has never happened before. They are supposed to stay until the last flight, poor at best.

I recently rented a car at the Halifax airport. I had chosen a mystery vehicle to save some money. We received a brand new jeep safari Wrangler. I could not have been more pleased or impressed with the service that I received. Will definitely be renting from Avis again.

I’ve rented a vehicle from AVIS at the Halifax airport several times. Each time has been a great experience. Fast and friendly check in. The SUV we had this time was brand new. I have not always had great experiences with various rental companies across the country. However, my wife and I travelled to Halifax this past week and we rented through AVIS. There was little waiting time as there were three staff on the desk. I was warmly greeted by Charles who managed the administrative work professionally and efficiently. I was offered an upgrade, which I do not often accept but in this case, I did because I felt no pressure to accept it. The 2023 Grand Cherokee was literally brand new and performed well during our rental period. When we returned the vehicle to Halifax Airport this morning, we were warmly greeted by a staff member who quickly checked the vehicle over and wished us well on our journey home. I had the e-receipt on my phone before I made it to the ticket counter to check-in. Well done by all concerned.
