Albert Street Art Market and Tattoo

Fantastic experience! Madlen is an incredible artist and very easy to talk to. I'm normally quite introverted but the vibes here made me feel like I was visiting friends. As someone who enjoys collecting from a wide variety of people, I've been to my fair share of different shops, and I would highly recommend this one (and Madlen!) I'm looking forward to coming back here for more work

I've gotten tattoos from Katie Moon, Allison and Zac! All super wonderful people and I love the work I've had done! Super clean and friendly shop, highly recommend visiting any of the artists but in particular these 3! The butterflies were done by Allison and are one of my fav pieces!

I got a tattoo by Allison back in December and it was honestly a fantastic experience! I was super nervous going into the session since it was my first tattoo and wasn’t sure what to expect. Allison put all my nerves to rest as soon as I came in. The space was so welcoming and calming. Allison gave me the space to communicate what I wanted out of the tattoo and made really great adjustments on the spot! The tattoo was quick and not nearly as painful as I was expecting. One and a half Wes Andersen films later and I had a timeless art piece on my arm that I was in complete awe of. Allison is an absolute master of their profession and I’m proud to have their work on me for the rest of my life.

I've only worked with one artist here, Katie Moon, but they were absolutely fantastic. Katie is realistic and upfront about what type of work they do, and if they are the best suited artist for you. I've got an upcoming appointment with Ashley, and I am so excited, I can't wait. I've met a few of the other artists in passing, including the owner and they are all so kind. Great vibes and immaculate talent in this studio.

Good shop. Lots of talented artists. Got a tattoo by Ashley it is great. Wouldn't mind being tattoo by a few others there also. I fully Recommend!

I’ve had work done now by Katie and Allison. Impeccable vibes and work from them both. Based solely on my interactions with those two I am making a very firm statement that Albert Street has the coolest individuals in Winnipeg working out of their shop.Super chill vibes, always checking in for consent and pain tolerance. It’s an incredibly safe space for people of all walks of life. The artists take their job very seriously from the art itself all the way to sanitizing and safety.If you manage to sneak into either of their books when they open I 10/10 recommend.I most likely will not be getting tattooed by anyone other than those two for the foreseeable future (and if that doesn’t pan out, it’ll be by someone working out of that shop for sure).

I had this piece done by Renee Strong. She was very nice and made me feel comfortable. The other female artists were also very nice and welcoming. I would highly recommend going here for your next tattoo!

Draven provided me with my very first tattoos, and each came with a great experience. Neat, clean, respectful, well-done, and a really cool environment in general. Will continue to recommend this studio and Draven to anyone and everyone, such a cool “hidden” gem on Albert St.!
