Swimming at the marble sand beach of Marble Mountain is one Cape Breton experience everyone needs to enjoy. The white sand beach along this shore gives a turquoise colour to the water reminiscent of Caribbean beaches, and is a popular swimming spot. The Marble Mountain Wharf Preservation Society renovated and maintains the public wharf. A small fee is charged to boats for overnight dockage. There is also an access point at Marble Mountain Beach to help link The Great Trail’s Bras d’Or Lake water route. When completed, this water route will encompass 300 kilometers around the majestic Bras d'Or Lake, connecting the land-based trail, from Port Hastings to Whycocomagh, to North Sydney.Amenities: Public wharf, wash rooms, launch ramp, spring water from a hose located on the beach.

It's not the same and I like a free beach it's Called Canada's ocean play grounds not a private pay to play. I like to relax at a free beach. Marble mountain is 2 thumbs down go to port hood nicer sand and why better environment

A very small beach. Can get crowded. However very nice views. There's also a $3 entrance fee so make sure to bring some cash. Also be prepared to drive into dirt road.

Caribbean like beach from the marble chips and warm waters of the Bras For Lake. Access road is rough but passable. Voluntary fee for upkeep and improvements.

Very small little beach at the end of s long drive. There is no sand. The beach itself is small pebbles, however the water has a lot of big rocks which make it difficult to walk without water shoes. It is very quiet and peaceful there.
