Tha Spice is Right
Honestly had a craving for jerk chicken the other day and was visiting a friend in Burlington. Was thinking to drive back to sauga cause I didn’t think there’d be a spot around here but thank God I checked. The jerk tastes just like back home and the staff were incredibly friendly and sweet. Already planning my next trip to see my friend and this time I’ll be sure to take her.

Tha Spice is Right
We tried The Spice is Right recently to satisfy our cravings for some authentic Jamaican food and were not disappointed. The flavours were excellent. A little more heat (as in hot peppers) would’ve been nice, but that’s my fault for thinking medium would translate to hot for us here in Canada, and that authentic Jamaican hot would be too much. It was medium, and that was fine. Next time we’ll order it hot — maybe extra hot! The staff were super friendly here, and very appreciative of a modest tip.

Tha Spice is Right
I am very happy that they are back! We ordered the goat dinner and the jerk chicken dinner. We’ve had a lot of Jamaican- both locally and in Jamaica. Dinner tonight was amazing. You need to try this place ❤️

I visited this place this afternoon and hands down, this is THE BEST Caribbean spot I have ever tried! Service from Monique and Kevin was incredible. I felt like I was at home away from home! My jerk chicken was tender and full of flavour. This is my new Jamaican sanctuary going forward!Thanks Monique and Kevin!

Tha Spice is Right
Tried this place for my first time tonight - delicious food and excellent service. I came fairly late (7pm) on a Friday looking for fried chicken, but they had just sold out when I arrived! There was 1 piece left though, and the cashier gave me this for free while I waited for my order. Ended up getting the jerk chicken and it was 10/10. Great new hidden gem in Burlington, and ill definitely be back soon!

Delicious food is one thing, and this place has that. But that little bit extra, chat, smile, connection, there's the key. Had a delicious Roti today and was made to feel welcome. In these times, that's so great. Support your local independent restaurants! Eat here.

Tha Spice is Right
We have been looking forward to their re-opening ever since the pandemic. We have eaten there a few times since they reopened but this is the first time we had enough self control to take pictures before devouring the food. We got the Ox-tail Meal, Curry Goat Roti, Plantains, Festival and some Jamaican patties.Not only is the food amazing and made to order, but the owner and her service is unparalleled — her suggestions and explanations are on point and shes a blast to talk to while you wait for your food.We will definitely keep returning

Amazing food! Second time my husband and I have had The Spice is Right this week. Highly recommend the fried chicken! And the Jerk Chicken- the spice is just right!You can tell they use exceptional quality ingredients and their food is made with love. Very clean and not greasy at all. Staff are super friendly and very welcoming! Will for sure be going back again and again!

Best island food in town. We have tried their goat curry, oxtail, fried chicken and patties. Nothing but deliciousness! What makes the place even greater, the owners. They are so nice and accomodating with our requests.
