Shignanski Construction

We recently commissioned Shignanski Construction to design and install a new front porch on our home. All stages of the work, including consultation, project management, installation and finishing were professional and at a high standard. We made several minor changes throughout the work, which were accommodated with no issues. The work area was kept clean and tidy throughout. I would certainly recommend Shignanski Construction.

Shagnanski Construction were amazing! We had 2 large beams put in the basement to eliminate the posts, new flooring and subfloor, sewer back up valve installed and all new lighting. The work was done so well and has increased the value of our home. Our project manager was accessible and willing to work with our needs and wants. The workers were respectful, on time and always cleaned up at the end of the day. We will use Shagnanski for future projects.

In the summer and fall of 2021, Shignanski completed a renovation of our main and second-floor common spaces. This included our great room, kitchen, dining nook, stairway, and two bathrooms. Adding to this was the fact that the team had to work around us as we remained living in and working from our home.We were so impressed with Shignanski. At the first meeting, it was obvious that they were excited about taking on our renovation. Throughout the renovation, their team members were professional, kind, flexible, and honest. The team members made themselves available and were easy to talk to.Day in and day out, the team members were respectful of our continual presence: they kept their work areas tidy and were mindful of our everyday activities and made sure to say hello to us and our pets when they arrived onsite.Overall, we're happy to say that we're thrilled with the results. We would have no hesitation recommending Shignanski to others; we look forward to being able to bring them back to finish our basement.

Shignanski remodeled our master suite, main bath and spare room in our old bungalow. They were very professional with everything and the trades they brought in were very respectful as well. They communicated incredibly well through the whole process and any hiccups (dealing with an old house) were dealt, always, with our best interest in mind. They were very mindful of the fact we were still living in the home and contained their work area and cleaned up after themselves. The end result was better than we expected and we are extremely happy with the result! They made renovating our home a worth while experience and we will be using them again for any future projects we decided to tackle.

Shignanski completed our recent renovation which included removing walls, reconfiguring the kitchen, removing and replacing windows and entry doors as well as changing the siding on the house.We were very impressed with the professionalism from start to finish of our project. Their employees were extremely responsive and flexible to work with any changes we required as well everything was discussed up front and we had full control over making all decisions without being pushed in any one direction.We were so impressed we can’t wait to complete our next project with Shignanski.

My husband and I recently had our kitchen and family room renovated by Shignanski Construction. From our first meeting with them we knew they would be the company for us! Darren our project manager was always in contact with us. He let us know what was going on and when someone would be coming. Anyone who came to work here was always polite, friendly and professional. They all made sure to say hello to our pets.My kitchen and family room room are beautiful. Every morning when I come downstairs I say what an awesome kitchen! I definitely recommend Shignanski Construction!

I am a sub-contractor that works with Shignanski multiple times throughout the year. Though I can't comment on the work they do as I have not completed a project with them myself, I will say that my interactions with their various project managers has always been great. They are very professional and exhibit great communication. The homeowners I have spoken to on job sites also seem very pleased with their experience. I would consider this contractor for any future projects of my own.

We have used Shignanski to renovate several areas in our home (large ensuite in 2018 as well as a basement renovation after sewer backup and kitchen remodel in 2020). We didn't even think to go to another company after using Shignanski the first time. When we did our kitchen redesign, they helped us right from designing the kitchen to the final product. Having a project manager as a single point of contact was very helpful and relieved much of the stress during the renovation process. They are also trustworthy and their customer service is amazing. They would not close off a project until we were completely satisfied with the work. I'm not sure what else we will renovate in our house but we will definitely be calling them when the next project comes up!

Shignanski completed our basement development in 2022 and we couldn't be happier with the results. Through out plan development with Justin, to all aspects of the construction process with Daren and the team we always felt in good hands. Responsive, professional, and communicative at all levels. When issues came up the team let us know and were ready with solutions. I would recommend Shignanski Construction to my friends and family without hesitation.
