it was exhausting but very cool. my wife came in the spring and would like to see the scenery in the winter. Now we need to go back in 3 months and take those comparative photos. We had to leave the car on the road and we came walking with the children, it took 20 minutes to reach the place, my children didn't complain, it is worth a lot of adventure.

This is a really popular and cool spot to swim and hang out off the beaten path. The water is a super blue color and has a bunch of goldfish in it. For a party spot its really clean and there were lots of family's with small children. There is a spot on the left side that people were jumping off a high cliff which looks like a blast. I guess this place was originally a working gravel pit that they were digging down deep and struck a natural spring that filled in the pit and created what it is today. Worth the drive in, the road is off the beaten path a bit but not bad.

I hate to give this place any stars because it is already popular and a well known cool swimming hole. It is a fun place to swim and spend the day!

Awesome place,great for swimming or photos,also be lucky and see some giant gold fish ,maybe even a sunken car!

Beautiful spot! Been wanting to check it out for quite some time now and finally did. I can't wait to go back! The water is beautiful, there are goldfish, places to jump from, and lots of space to swim and play in the water.
