Ordered $9 garden salad & $5 chicken breast. Was told it was 5oz. Was only 2. I weighed it because it looked suspicious. Chicken dry and salad half rotten and the size of a side salad. Sent back only to get more dressing, no more chicken and literally only a few more pieces of lettuce whips 1/2 was rotten. Not cool. Never visit again. We’re in town a lot. Thought we’d try it out to support. Never againJust a reference I ordered the same meal in Bancroft the same day but forDinner and for $3 more I received 100% more food. Better quality. Bancroft Brew Pub.

Best breakfast and service I’ve had in a long time. Perfect portion size and great prices. Sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. Silvie was a sweet heart.

I've visited Daylight Diner with some friends and we all had a great experience overall. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. We've received our order very fast. The breakfast was also delicious, just like we've expected.

Breakfast was very good and the service was exceptionally friendly. We had one basic breakfast and one deluxe eggs Benedict. The eggs were great and although the potatoes were tasty, they were cold. The waitress replaced them with hot ones when we told her they were cold. It's a busy place so keeping potatoes hot should not present a problem.

The table service is amazing, our server was great and the food was good except for the potatoes that were cold, and barely cooked. My husband refused his as he had asked for well done potatoes, but we heard the cook tell the server that they could not be put back on the grill because they wouldn't cook any further, which for both of us having cooked in restaurants, we know is not accurate. They would have been acceptable for me if they were actually at least warmed right thru, but they were cold and ruined the rest of his and my breakfast. At another table another woman got her breakfast and felt the same way and shared that with us.For me the worst part was that the cook refused to even try, sad. We won't be back.

I took my family on a “Guess Where Trip” called butter tart trail. We were on are last stop of the day and we’re hungry and saw Daylight Diner across the street from where we parked. Being from Brampton and being city folk we assume all restaurants are open all day so we didn’t look at the hours. We were greeted promptly and were seated immediately. We placed our order and it seemed like five minutes went by and we had our food. My wife and daughter ordered breakfast at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. My son got chicken fingers and fries and I got a burger and fries. My burger was delicious and the fries were great. No one had a complaint about the food which is unusual for my family. We got the bill and the cost was very reasonable for the amount of food we got. As we walked out I turned to the door and saw them closing for the day. I looked at the hours and saw they closed at two and it was two thirty by the time we left. If we were in Brampton we would’ve be told we’re closed.Thank you so much for feeding us on your own time much appreciated. We’ll be back if we’re ever in the area. During regular business hours next time.

Basic breakfast, eggs were great, sausages were great, bacon was extra crispy but when asked they replaced it immediately to some more to my wife's liking. Home fries were flavorless and like warm. Service was great, very nice atmosphere... The home fries and the initial bacon is what killed one start in what otherwise would have been a 5 star review.

Absolutely garbage. You can taste the gritty dirt on the home fries, the scrambled eggs were so flat and not seasoned at all. The entire meal was cold. Everything was served in small portions. I would serve a three year old more food than that. Such a shame as a meal for two breakfasts was over $50. This was our fourth time trying this place, because you never know....it was our last. I don't like to give a review until I've tried the same place more then once.

I do love my eggs Benny and this place did not disappoint. Family of 6 have left full and satisfied. Service was awesome and fast and of course friendly. Thanks so much. .
