Bear Creek Golf Club

We have to be part of many Weddings and holiday parties at Bear Creek Golf Club. Highly recommend chatting with Drew and Nicole if you are looking for a place to hold any celebration.

Disappointing customer service…Refused to let us pay for an extra cart for a spectator due to a “policy” that is not found anywhere on their website.Every other course we’ve played with has given us zero issues so why is this course “unable to cover spectators” under their insurance?Front desk was extremely unhelpful and made no effort to accomodate our group

One of the best courses in Barrie area. I really like the fact they have 27 holes. The course is well kept, carts ride nice. Looking forward to many more rounds in the years to come.

Great friendly staff!! The Marshall today (June 19) couldn't have been a more friendly fellow. Kind courteous and very understanding. He was very accommodating and I appreciated his couth. Kudos to you for making me want to return to your golf course in the near future.

This course features 27 holes ......did I mention 27 holes.....all 9s are par 35. You can definitely spend all day here. I managed to play the South and Central course ...2 interesting holes I may add , the 2nd and the 3rd...the 2nd you can easily slice onto the highway and if you pull or draw...you end up in the woods. The 3rd hole is a short par 3 ..but its an elevated tee ...so make sure you pull the correct club. The course is generally flat , not too much trouble , the greens are hard and fast so you may need to club down for the bump and run shot. The bunkers played true. Overall nice layout ...easy to walk and a couple narrow fairways with some blind shots on the Central course. Grand 19th hole awaits with ballroom for Corporate events and weddings. Will definitely have to come back to play the Island course. Call Miko now to book your tee time !!

Great shorter course with nice big fairways and smaller greens. The holes are separated so you don’t have to deal with golfers hitting into you. The food and beer was great and they have a very nice patio. Highly recommend! They did not have a Bev cart out but it wasn’t that busy so it’s understandable.

A beautiful course. Very well kept and the most of staff are very friendly (a notation in the end). From the reservation (Josh helped me out and explained all the questions I had) to accomodating starter to friendly Marshall, course is very inviting. Three 9 hole courses to choose from depending on hours. THE ONLY complaint I have is when we went to the club house to check in, gentleman who help us check in was very rude and he was very ignorant. Made an ignorant and racist comment about my wifes name which we didn't appreciate, but didn't wanted to ruin our experience. Other than him, all good

Gorgeous course BUT. It was my first time here and probably my last. I don't know if today was an anomaly but they were crazy overbooked. We waited half an hour past our tee time to start. Waiting for 2 groups at each hole even though they paired people up. We couldn't finish as we didn't plan for 6+ hours for a game. We saw a couple other groups leave without finishing too. $160 wasted as not only could we not finish, we couldn't really enjoy the time while we were there either. What a shame

Course is pretty well kept, beautiful scenery at a competative price. Would love to give this place a better rating but unfortunately had a bad experience with a manager named Joe. Made an honest mistake, we stayed behind the cart signs but went the wrong way towards the cart path on the left instead of the right. He approached us in a very rude manner puffed his chest out and in a stern voice told us if we cant follow the rules we cant play here, worst customer service I have experience at a golf course. If you want to be treated with respect I suggest trying a different course there are plenty to choose from in the area. It was a terrible way to ruin our experience at the end of a great round.
