Na-Me-Res. It is probably the best shelter in the city. It's a Men's shelter. Dedicated staff, case workers, housing worker, doctors a nurse, and chefs during the day. They help and house more than just Native men. A dry house so not drugs or alcohol. They help those that are down and out. Best place when You've got no home and need assistance getting back on your feet

These people are there to help really. Clean and sober is the rule. Plus you can learn something about first nations. Bunk beds are the only problem there.

Staff are liars, and have no compassion. 5 days before Christmas, and they are discharging/evicting people onto the street or other homeless shelters.NO respect for people with mental disabilities. No sense of right or wrong, and always having multiple sets of rules - one set for people they want to help, and one for the people they want to get rid of.Staff attack residents verbally, and then blame the resident for fighting back with words".Phil (who worked there in 2016)

Amazing place, we’re helpful of my situation. I had got into housing within two months. They take great precautions to make sure the environment is sanitized and clean, the cooks are the sweetest lady’s. My worker was Caleja and she was fully supportive in me finding work and getting me the resources I need. Much appreciated ~Ken
