We stopped in and had the buffet and loved it. Lots to choose from.Atmosphere was amazing they had East Indian music playing and felt like we were in India.Our server was attentive to all of our needs. Great little East Indian restaurant good stuff good food we will be back when we're back in town.

I recently visited Cinnamon Indian Cuisine and Bar in Calgary downtown, and I must say it was a delightful experience. As someone hailing from South India, I have always been on the lookout for a place that can do justice biryani. I'm thrilled to say that Cinnamon Indian Cuisine and Bar exceeded my expectations.The restaurant offers a calm and serene atmosphere, perfect for a delightful dining experience. I opted for the Maharaja Thaali, which included flavorful curries like butter chicken, paneer, mutton, and dhaal. The Malabar fish curry was my personal favorite, bursting with authentic spices. The staff provided excellent hospitality, and I even received a complimentary gulab jamun. If you're craving the flavors of India, this is the place to be!

Such a great place if you’re looking for authentic Indian food. After a long drive from Banff, was looking for some Indian food and this place did not disappoint. Ordered the Maharani Platter which was super delicious! Will definitely be heading back here again

I have tried at this location couple of times and experience has been subpar in terms of taste and service. Like the variety in menu for appetizers, hara-bhara kabab is delicious. We ordered maharani platter, paneer malai kofta, paneer butter masala, aloo gobi, dal makhni and naan. Taste was alright (not great). Reasonably priced for downtown location, decent portions. Service needs to be better and faster, not sure if the server was new on our last visit but needed significant training. She/they barely understood non-Indian accent, questioned choices of a gluten-free friend. Also, spilled wine twice while pouring and dint even apologize or replace the quantity spilled.

We went there for dinner during our holiday in Canada. It was our first time at the restaurant. The food and service were superb. Simran looked after us very well. She made good suggestions of food to be ordered. We highly recommend the restaurant.

Food: we ordered Maharaja thali. The food was very tasty. Definitely recommend this place for Indian food.Service: It was very slow and lethargic. We had to keep on calling the staff to request tissue papers and salt peppers, and they were not their at the desk. So we had to look around to find the staff. Honestly, the staff was not attentive.Atmosphere: The place was not at all neat and tidy. It was stinking inside.

My experience was nice as I was here at 3 o'clock afternoon so there was no one so I got to choose the table. Server was really polite and helpful. Food was really nice. Naan bread was perfectly cooked. Cocktail was bit okey, I didn't like it but was okay. Best tip to everyone - Park your vehicle at street and get a refund from restaurant, just show your parking receipt at checkout.Overall nice experience and I will definitely recommend you to visit.

Their golgappa and honey chilli gobi are my favourite and I keep going back more often. Their Indian buffet on the weekends are worth a try. The mango lassi is a must have
