Hôtel Le Président Sherbrooke

Extremely handy location just off the highway. The staff are friendly and helpful, this hotel is amazing for its price point. The building is older and the rooms are showing their age a bit only in their style (decor, dark at night) but everything is clean and we slept really comfortably. The older style is charming and has character. Would stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel is starting to show its age. The rooms are clean and well outfitted. The staff is friendly. With the exception of a continental breakfast for $10.00, there is no other food offering on site.

Not sure how this place is still open. Full of mold in the rooms and dirty sheets. The pool was cloudy and not well maintained. I’d stay clear of this place!

Stay here for a Hockey tournament in Nov. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable. Kids had a blast in the pool and as a bonus the hotel provides a shared conference room for large groups to share. I would certainly stay here again.

We stayed for a couple of days. Rooms and service were pretty great! The room was big and super cozy.It'd be awesome if they could have a restaurant.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights due to the swim competition atSherbrook University. The place is outdated and needs a makeover but not worth the price I paid per night. The room was old and worn down. There was rust/orange resudue in the bathtub and on the frame of the door. So, no one showered. Just could not understand why the hotel would give me a room with rust in the bathroom. I got acquainted with a black crawly thingy minding its own business on the bathroom floor. I took a picture but will not share it. Oh, BTW, the pool water was merky. Will I stay again at this hotel? Not sure... maybe yes, or not.

We used to stay at this hotel often pre-pandemic and it was lovely. Our recent experience was not good and we won’t go back. Check-in is late and check-out is early compared to other hotels. The pool opens late, and the water was so cloudy we wouldn’t use it anyway. The price is expensive and when we asked for the lower advertised rate when we checked-in, we were told they couldn’t do anything about the price. The rooms are outdated and there was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. To compare, we stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton in Mississauga one week prior in a beautiful room with pool, sauna and fitness centre onsite for less per night than what we paid to stay at Hotel Le President. Very disappointing!

Disgusting disgusting hotel!! Upon checking in, they tried to hold a greater amount than the standard and I was told I did not pay for the room even though I showed them to booking and confirmation of payment! Once in my room, I found hair all over the bathroom floor, blood stains on the pillow and bugs. Not to mention the foul mouldy smell coming from the walls!! After complaining to front desk I was told i can come down to get an air freshener! The sheets were clearly not changed from the previous guests or longer since that bloody pillow should not have been put back! The place is run down, dark and creepy. When I had asked to speak to a manager I was told he was not working and to call the next day. After trying to contact him the following morning, they claimed that I had spoken to him and did not mention any of these problems which was a lie! I packed up after 1 hour and drove the 3 hours back home. STAY AWAY from this place! You are better off paying their high prices for any other hotel nearby.

Service was poor, and I was surprised that the hotel was actually a 4 star. I stayed for three nights, and got no room service. I placed the card on my door (green side) and specifically asked for room service, but I got none. I had to go to the receptionist and ask for a new coffee pad, clean towels, etc.I used the swimming pool the first night, and got red eyes for the next two days. Either the water was not clean, or too much chlorine (or both).Overall, my stay experience was poor.

This hotel was mostly fine but no hot water in the morning when trying to shower was a big negative. It’s a common occurrence according to the front desk when the hotel is at or near full capacity. As a result, I don’t recommend this hotel.
