It is very tricky to find their parking, the entrance is across and you need to go to the very end, so you will be near the entrance to the hotel. Also, when we arrived Google took us to New Gower St. entrance, which was not the main entrance. You need to take right before to Barters Hill, and the entrance will be on the left. Rooms were fine, but we had to change room, and they gave us upgrade with breakfast, but that was even worse room (smaller and outdated), so very weird upgrade. But anyways stuff was friendly. Room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was not bad. We enjoyed the pool and sauna on a cold day.

Very friendly staff all throughout the building. When checking in, some people in my group got charged more than others for the deposit so we were not sure what happened there when our rooms were all the same. One day a man knocked and came into my room to check my room phone which I found a bit odd but maybe there was an issue I wasnt aware of. The pool was nice and warm, and the restaurant is beautiful. The security in this building is superb. You have to have your access key to get in at night, and to go up in the elevators from the main and lower level. Close to many shops and pubs. Overall I suppose I agree with the 4 stars.

The service was excellent. The location was very close and walking distance to George St. and lots of great restaurants. The rooms were clean. Beds comfortable. Could use an update in the rooms. But I would certainly stay there again.

Most of the hotel staff where very nice, and the room was great. However one of the night managers made an unacceptable comment….Just because my husband has tattoos and doesn’t dress with a business suit , doesn’t give the manager the right to say that he’s doesn’t look like a guest of the motel and should continue on his way…He has no right to make assumptions like that, very disrespectful! The weekend we arrived in town our regular hotel was fully booked, so we went to the Delta. The first night stay the room was over $200, we where not sure how long we where in town and they told my husband that they would lower the price to $80-$90 a night. As we where there on business, and reasonable price they had given us we stayed 7 days…. Well at checkout we where shocked to see a charge of over $1500.00….The price they had given us where all changed and they did absolutely nothing to reduce it a bit. This was our first stay an WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!

Delta St. John’s is located at one end of Downtown and walking distance to Water Street and George Street. Hotel has a big lobby with a good restaurant located right in the lobby. Even though I didn’t use them, but they have a nice gym and a pool in the lower level. There’s a Starbucks right in the lobby which is very convenient. The entrance of the hotel is from the back and if you are going there for the first time, it is difficult to find.My room had 2 queen beds, a sofa chair and a desk with chair. Bathroom is nicely appointment but a little dated. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles are fixed on the wall of the shower right where you are standing under the shower, which makes it very difficult to move your arms.Overall, nice hotel for the price and good value for money.

Booked a room at the Delta St. John’s months ago for family visit and requested adjoining rooms or rooms next to each other as there are 4 of us with a child. Arrive at hotel and spent at least an hour checking in. First we are given two rooms at opposite ends of the hallway plus one is next to elevator. Go back to desk and let them know this wont work. We booked months ago and it is a rate of $300 a night. They move us down a floor and put us across from the elevator. So have a child who is in a room across from the elevator for two nights. The bathroom has mold all around the shower. This is for $300 a night. Don’t recommend this hotel.

Clean, affordable, great service. The hotel took care of me despite being very busy with a dance competition. Restaurant staff were very attentive. The only thing I thought could have been better was for the hotel to upgrade the vending machines to take card payment. The parking was very convenient. And they had a dedicated spot for door dash deliveries. No issues ordering in.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Delta in St. John's, Newfoundland, and I must say, despite a few outdated elements, the experience was truly delightful. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who ensured my check-in process was seamless. The lobby exuded an elegant charm, though I couldn't help but notice that the overall style of the rooms seemed a bit outdated. However, I soon realized that this minor drawback was overshadowed by the exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel.Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a spotless environment that made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease. The housekeeping staff should be commended for their meticulous attention to detail. Every corner was flawlessly clean, and the linens were fresh and inviting. It was evident that cleanliness was a top priority for the hotel, and it truly made a difference in my overall experience.Although the room lacked a modern aesthetic, it possessed a certain charm and homely atmosphere that added to the overall appeal. The furniture may not have been the most contemporary, but it was comfortable and well-maintained. The amenities provided were of excellent quality, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. One aspect that truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service offered by the hotel staff. They were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to meet my needs. Whether it was providing helpful recommendations for local attractions or promptly addressing any concerns I had, the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident throughout my stay. The hotel's location was another highlight. Situated in the heart of St. John's, it provided easy access to a myriad of attractions, restaurants, and vibrant nightlife. The breathtaking views of the city and harbor from certain rooms added an extra touch of magic to the overall experience. While the room's style may have been a bit outdated, the remarkable cleanliness and impeccable service more than made up for it. If you're seeking a hotel that prioritizes cleanliness and offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, this establishment in St. John's is an excellent choice.Overall, my stay at this hotel was an exceptional experience. Despite the room's outdated style, the remarkable cleanliness, top-notch service, and fantastic location made it an unforgettable visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a charming haven in the heart of St. John's, Newfoundland.

I'm still here on a 7 day work trip and so I'll edit it after my stay is done.So far rooms are good clean but musty, there is no air flow. When they make rooms in morning they forget items constantly to do.Service at front desk is atrocious especially the after 6pm staff. Absolutely arrogant, unfriendly, stuck up, rude staff. It's almost scary to go to them to ask for anything.Location is meh, it's walking distance to water street. Parking is kind of weird but is available. The pool and sauna and fitness area are good. Perfect for business travelers on long stays. They absolutely don't care about Marriott status and points btw. Very rude front staff. The elevators constantly smell like trash and cigarettes.
