Chambers Guest House B&B

Great little gem in North Sydney! Very charming house, host is super nice and a total pro. Super delicious breakfast, highly recommend staying here if you're passing through the area.

I was very impressed with Chambers Guest House. I arrived after 9pm and found David waiting to greet me and show me to my room and offer refreshments. My room was very comfortable and elegantly decorated. In the morning Cheryl provided an outstanding breakfast with many homemade specialities and wide choice in a relaxed setting with congenial guests.

Angels on earth....they do exist. Cheryl was such a gracious host when she really wasn't ready to accommodate anyone as she's just getting ready to open again after shut down. My friend was in a bind and I called from another province trying to help my friend who was there and this amazing lady Cheryl called me back to say she couldn't stop thinking about my friend and she wanted to help so even though she wasn't completely ready for a guest, she would provide her with a clean comfortable room for her and her elderly dog. Thank you so much Cheryl. If ever someone needed an angel it's my friend. So thank you on behalf of my friend.

This place is a must see if you're looking to stay in North Sydney. While the town itself doesn't have much to offer, this is the most charming little house! The house itself has great character and is very clean. Our room was quiet and comfortable and very charming. What really makes this place special though is the amazing host and her fantastic family. The breakfast was outstanding and over the top. They were polite, considerate and had great attention to detail. We appreciated her asking about our food preferences for breakfast and leaving out wine and nuts for later in the evening. She was welcoming and friendly and completely opened her home to us. It was the best B&B we've ever been to. HIGHLY Reccommend it!

So glad we stayed here! The hot breakfast was delicious and full of lots of homemade goodies. We enjoyed meeting people at breakfast and Cheryl is a lovely host!

Cheryl is an awesome hostess! Our room was delightfully decorated and appointed. In fact the entire house is bursting with antiques!What a treat to enjoy an exceptional hot breakfast, all homemade, even the condiments, on a table set with Victorian linens, china and glass. A feast for the senses. An excellent start to our Cabot trail tour. Our only regret - that we couldn't stay longer.

Possibly the most hospitable host on our trip! An easy stay (good parking, digital key pad, wi-fi). Quiet accommodations, good sized bedrooms with reasonably comfortable bed. The breakfast was just incredible. I'd give the breakfast 6 stars if I could- fine dining with a huge variety of delicious and homemade offerrings. Plus the Victoria era home and dining room is complemented by period dishware making you feel like you're eating at a Duke and Duchess' house. The only drawbacks were cash only" and the bedroom door not latching properly from outside (from inside you can just lock it)."

Very nicely decorated in traditional manner. The room and bed are very comfortable. Includes a hot breakfast of yummy homemade freshly prepared food items.Host is very kind and quick to respond. Free wine & snack were provided upon arrivalGood fast wifi.Apple iPhone users need to turn off Private Network" just for this place to allow wifi internet connection.Android connects immediately."

Fantastic B & B and an even better hostess. Cheryl is so helpful and friendly. Love her breakfast with all her local and homemade products. Our second visit to Cheryl but not our last.

This place was FANTASTIC and you will love it if you love vintage/antique collections and old fashioned hospitality! Cheryl was so lovely and considerate and there was so much effort and detail put into everything to ensure you had a great stay. She asked for dietary requirements ahead of time and on the morning, made sure she whipped up a delicious lacto-ovo vegetarian version of the breakfast just for me! I've also never stayed at such a clean B&B - The place was spotless.Thank you so much, Cheryl! I will be recommending you to friends!
