Day & Ross Freight

I was supposed to have this company come and pick up a couch that was damaged. I received a confirmation email saying that they would be at the house on January 5th between 9am and 5pm, took the entire day off from work and no one showed up. After calling the company to find out why, I was told they ran out of time". Would've been nice to receive a phone call. I was then told that they would be there the following day; again no one showed up. I lost out on two days of pay at my job (who needs money anyways

Our experience was terrible. They gave a weeks timeline on the delivery, no idea on when it would be delivered. Because of this I couldn’t have someone there ready for the delivery. When it was delivered they were supposed to leave our package in “the closest dry spot to the front door”. It was raining the day of delivery and the palate with all of our kitchen cabinets was left fully in the rain at the furthest part of our driveway possible, partly in the public alley next to our house.The delivery driver knocked on the door, let me know that since the package was 800lbs he couldn’t get it closer. He suggested I carry it in by hand, and when i informed him I was home alone and it was raining he just shrugged and left.We are not happy with the customer service provided, especially from the delivery driver. We will avoid using this company for future shipments.

tracking site said out for delivery May 20....nothing showed up. Checked website on May 24...said out for delivery on May 24. So is it really out for delivery?....Called Customer Support (option 3), was on hold for 30 minutes.....gave up...called again, option 2, person that answered said it was at the XXX terminal, but wasn't sure if it was being delivered or they will just call me??...whats that all about.As per other complaints, Lowe's needs to find a better 3rd party shipper....Another reason why people shop Amazon....

I was quite please with this company. I had a large bbq delivered. On the day of delivery they called to give me a 2 hour window. They showed up within that window. The delivery guy took the time to put the box where it would work best for me. He was pleasant and personable. Box was in perfect condition. Happy customer here!

Been waiting for shipment and have no idea when it’s arriving because your tracking system doesn’t work. Supposed to be here last Friday. Great job guys! Keep up the great work!

I've been waiting well over a week after the last shipping date expected and still haven't received the shipment. Had to call and inquire many times with no results. I have wasted a lot of time on hold trying to track down where the shipment is and no one seems to know. There was no tracking information given so shipment seems to be lost 'in transit'. On top of that, the call center hours are limited, thus even more difficult to get hold of anyone. I will NOT be ordering online from Home Depot OR shipping with Day & Ross again.

This has by far been the worst customer support experience I have ever seen. I have been waiting for a pick up for over a month in a half, refund of product dependent on pick up. I have had to take 5 days off from work waiting for a pick up to happen as they only give you a 9-6p window for pick-up, with no one showing up nor a call to cancel the pick-up. The customer service teams can not contact the Windsor Terminal by phone number and only by email. Doesn't matter how many managers you speak to, nothing happens. Last representative I spoke with told me to just hold on. Product is still in my home and no resolution other than the terminal will call. Would never suggest to anyone to use. If I could give them negative stars I would.

I ordered a pool for Walmart and day ross was handle the package it was on it way and they sent it back to Toronto 4 hours away.. you call to get information and they don’t have very informative at all about where anything’s at so I think they need Improvments BIG TIME

I have placed the same extremely large and heavy order of shelving for my business four times in the past three years. Each time, I pay an additional fee for inside delivery and a scheduled delivery appointment. My representative from the company I order from carefully arranges this with Day & Ross each time. Three out of four times, the order has shown up at my door with no warning - because of this I had no one ready to assist with unloading the order, and it had to be sent back to the warehouse to wait for an appointment to be scheduled. I don't know why this keeps happening but it's extremely annoying.
