Deer + Almond Cafe
Came here on a whim for dine in just before the lunch rush. The café ambience really removes you from the fact it’s in an EQ3 which is great. Food was delicious, good accent flavours to brunch staples. Their ingredients are locally sourced which makes the experience much more wholesome. Can be a little pricey but it is more than your above average cafe/breakfast spot. Definitely would go again to try the rest of the menu!

This place is amazing. I wish there was one in Toronto! The tomato bisque and the croissant were unreal. See you next time I’m back in town!

Had an amazing brunch here. I got the salmon Benedict and then we ordered the cinco leches cake for dessert. The salmon Benny was served on this delicious toasted sourdough bread. Served with fresh herbs and capers as a garnish. Simple and delicious. To drink, I had an Americano AND an iced vanilla oat latte and both were superb (really needed it that morning). The cake was sooo good, I want to recreate it at home. Plus the cherry on top of all of this was that staff here are so genuinely sweet. We had some nice conversations with the staff which made our experience that much better. I will definitely be returning to this cute cafe.

Deer + Almond Cafe
Beautiful addition to CF Polo Park and a nice alternative to Moxies for a sit down lunch. They’re open 11-7 pm. Flavors and presentation are the exact standard that’s expected of Chef Mandel Hitzer.Seating is nice, if a bit bright. Service was prompt and friendly. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

Are you kidding me?! This was the most delicious brunch I’ve had in….maybe ever?! I had no idea that this little gem was hidden in Polo Park. My mom and I shared the Caesar salad and the best avocado toast I’ve had in my life. The man behind the bar and the server were so sweet and kind and personable. I will be back!!

Amazing service!! The tomato soup with cheese dumpling, gosh so good, absolutely fresh and delicious, tuna tartar was yum, Benedict was perfectly done!! We had an amazing time!!

Deer + Almond Cafe
I've only been here twice but wow do I love it. The atmosphere is awesome (obviously, it's in EQ3), the staff is so friendly and the food is delicious. My mom and I shared the egg sandwich (that egg!!) and the chips + dip, and both were so so good. We also had to pavlova for dessert which I would highly recommend (loved the passionfruit curd!).

stopped in for a quick lunch before taking on the rest of the mall. the atmosphere is definitely elevated compared to the rest of the dining options polo park offers, but not to a stifling degree. it was my first visit to any of deer + almonds restaurants but i’ve always heard great things, and the cafe did not disappoint! the staff were all very sweet and personable, and of course the food was stellar. i look forward to what i’m sure will be many future visits!
