Had our basement redone last year with Mark and his team. The whole process was smooth and streamlined. Cynthia was great during the design and took care of permits etc. Also she was great with lending an eye on finishes and colour combinations.All the contractors who came to work were professional, courteous and punctual.Would recommend The Basement Store without hesitation.

We were impressed with Mark and his team right from the get-go. Our downstairs was in desperate need of upgrading which included removal of popcorn ceilings, installing a new bathroom, replacing the kitchenette, adding some new closets, and a bit of a lift to our laundry room. In addition, we replaced the flooring and baseboards on our main floor which look amazing!Mark's staff were on-time, clean, responsive to any changes we asked for along the way, and delivered top-quality workmanship.Ironically, we had some big plumbing issues just two days before the crew arrived to start. Thankfully, they were able to get this unexpected issue resolved quickly. (We were grateful to not have found this issue after the renovations were completed!)Since the work has been completed, we have had so many compliments on how beautiful our home looks, thanks to The Basement Store. (California shutters still to come in pics below.)We are so excited about the result that we are now looking to get our main floor kitchen and bathroom re-done and we are confident that they're going to look top-notch!Thank you, Mark, Scott, Omar, and Jvon for making us feel so proud again of our home!

Brandon, Cynthia, Wayne, and the entire team are true professionals at building excellent basements. The entire process, from layout, design, selecting finishes, to the actual build was excellent. We were in constant communication with the team, and they worked hard to make sure that we were happy with the results. The quality of workmanship, attention to detail, and quality of materials was also excellent. We are enjoying our new space immensely, and we have received many complements from family and friends. We used The Basement Store for our complete basement reno. Our basement was partially (poorly) finished prior to hiring them, and they completely gutted it and refinished it to our exact specifications.They created a bedroom, bathroom, playroom, media centre, and bar - all finished beautifully. All of their contractors and workers were professional, on time, and skilled. They completed the job on time and on budget (aside from a few items we decided to upgrade).They also have a designer, Cynthia, who was very helpful and brought samples to our house for us to chose as we're a busy family of five with no time to shop around for finishes. Brandon was great throughout the entire process from start to finish and communication was amazing. I'd highly recommend The Basement Store and would absolutely use them again.

Really wonderful team to work with. Brandon ran a very tight ship - delivered on time and on budget. Workmanship is true to design and expectations. Seamless execution - the crew were all very friendly and respectful of our home. Would definitely recommend them to others!

Not sure who left them all these 11 reviews ( So far) . Maybe friends and families. I didn't hire them and therefore I am not sure about the quality of their job. But I asked them for quote. The deal I offered was like, Basement store just need to charge for labor and I will provide the materials. The price they offered was 3 times more than other contractors.Just heads up.

The Basement Store completely renovated our kitchen, plus finished a bedroom in our basement. They were fantastic from start to finish. Cynthia was excellent at designing the kitchen with us. The guys on site were brilliant - extremely hard working, always there on time, with a high quality of work. The final product was excellent - we are very happy!

We had an incredible experience with The Basement Store! Brandon was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns and was always making sure we were happy with the work and we were getting exactly what we wanted. The quality of work is top notch! The tradesmen even cleaned up after themselves every night! Building a basement is a long process but this company makes their customers feel like they are taken care of every step of the way! I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends!! We are extremely happy with how our basement turned out!! Thank you Brandon and team for all your hard work!! Worth every penny!!

Brandon, Cynthia, Wayne and team did a great job on our basement reno. We had a few custom features (fireplace, entertainment center, wet bar) we wanted in a clean modern design that they helped bring to life. Pricing was competitive and they were curtious and responsive from quote to finish. Crew was also friendly with our curious kids. The job did take a few weeks longer than expected, but the quality of the workmanship, attention to detail, and grade of products they installed were worth the wait.

I would highly recommend Brandon and his team to do work in your house. We were extremely satisfied with the final product, however what was most impressive was the service and responsiveness from Brandon. If there was ever a problem, Brandon was on it immediately and found a mutually satisfactory solution. There are always unexpected surprises during a house reno and with Brandon's team we managed through everything with few issues. Thank you!
