During my single night stay I heard the front desk attendant yell at a customer as well as yelling at someone else and had a general overall very rude demeanor.My wife also twisted her ankle on a weird unmarked ramp on the way to the pool, there is either no showers or change rooms found at the pool or they are hard to find with no signage.The elevator would also attempt to close the doors very quickly giving you very little time to exit or enter the elevator, which wouldn't be a huge deal but noticed it gave a handicapped guest issues.But I will say the staff in the breakfast area was awesome and the breakfast was quite good.Keeping in mind it's an older building so I expected some quirks the room was clean and was comfortable, my only complaint is there wasn't an accessible electrical outlet by the desk so we had to make coffee in the bathroom.

My daughter stayed here. I called to make sure there would be no issue with her checking in even though I booked the room with my card. The girl hassled them until the guy I talked to came forward. So his service was great the other girl needs to work on her people skills.

Renovated rooms are much nicer than non-renovated. Not all rooms are accessible. The lobby is quite nice, but the pool is very dated. Breakfast was good but overcrowded.

The walls are super thin. We could hear perfectly what the next door neighbors were saying. The queen beds were very small. The foyer was beautiful, the pool looked inviting, the breakfast room was great as was the woman who worked there. That's why I gave it a 4 star review

1. Cable TV replaced by Roku TV, however, internet bandwidth not strong enough to support streaming from all hotel guests. Similarly, I was unable to browse the web on my phone via wifi due to the aforementioned issue > management said they are “working on it.”2. My last morning at the hotel, I was awaken at around 0545 to the screams of “fire, fire” 2 rooms down the hallway. ?A small fire was extinguished by staff. Tried going back to sleep but 20mins later firefighters showed up and started ventilating room with a ?pump so couldnt really sleep. Then… 30mins later, the guest next door started speaking out-loud on the phone followed by “funny noises…” if you know what I mean… then, at around 0800 I tried to fall as sleep again but then hotel staff started vacuuming the carpet out in the hallway… Since check out was at 1100, I decided to just shower and take off3. Amy was really incredible getting me checked in. I was having a hard day and she bent over backwards to make it easy on me. Such a sweet lady and warm reception. Amy made my week. In the morning, Anthony was very sweet during checkout. Great service. Banging breakfast. My room was clean and safe - all I needed. Thank you!

Unsanitary, baseboards falling off in the hallway, reeks of stale cigarette smell. We booked a non-smoking room, but as we exited the elevator onto the hotel room floor, it smelled of cigarettes. The room was even worse.The smoke detector was covered with a piece of paper and the toilet was not cleaned despite having a sanitized seal.The front desk offered to spray the room instead of giving us a new room on another floor.What a disgusting hotel.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you won't be let down.Great staff, needs more reno done but already in the process of doing so, big pool, awesome breakfast

UPDATE: Knocked down one start for double charging for the room.Not bad, but good use some improvement.To preface, I stayed here for a business trip, so in those instances I often don't complain to the front desk as getting a discount doesn't affect my finances.Parking pass they give is just a piece of paper cut from a 8 * 11 sheet - didn't look too professional. Room card holders have been reused so much that they were wearing out.Can't comment on the pool as we were told it wasn't available. The room was clean, but freezing cold until I found the heater and cranked the heat. The TV was fine, but kept disconnecting from the internet when the heater came on, so I chose heat over entertainment. Also, the fridge constantly ran and was super loud so I had to turn down the settings a bit so it would still keep things cold, but not keep me awake.The bad parts were the toilet barely worked and drained constantly right after I used it. Then I lifted the top of the reservoir and was full of black mold so I fixed it quickly and put the lid back on. I was going to have a bath to relax, but the thought of the mold kept me from spending much time in there.Breakfast was good and the staff were very nice. Maybe after the renovations this place will be much better, but currently there are better places to stay. I might give it another chance next time I have to come down, or I might go one block away for a different hotel.UPDATE: Due to the double charge, will be going somewhere else next time.

This hotel is very dated, the fitness center was an absolute joke, all of the equipment was broken and dirty, the staff were also not very friendly. We booked 3 rooms under one booking and they had to charge our credit card 3 separate times for each room because that was just how they did it. Didn’t make much sense. Definitely would not recommend staying here. Only good thing they have going for them is the beds were comfy.
