Rosswood General Store

Stocked with items that would you can't find in Terrace. What a gem in the middle of nowhere. I will definitely be coming back just to sample more of their tea collection

Boutique general store in the middle of nowhere. Had Japanese cooking ingredients I did NOT expect to see this far up north (like nigari, to make tofu with, among other things), some really interesting condiments, ingredients, soft drinks, and a nice looking line of local skin care products.

As soon as you walk through the threshold, you feel the love & care that the store has had bestowed on it. Great selection of foodstuffs with much organic. Pure old-world charm with wooden shelves & minimal evidence of plastic. The owner had a lovely, welcoming manner too. Had a refreshing cup of tea & cookies & cake! Thank you for making it the most memorable stop on our 7000km + journey! Say hello to the friendly pooch on the porch.

This store had more cool off the wall health food than I have seen ages. I got a good lesson on Chaga Coffee (but didn't buy any : )I also found some great Yerba Mate tea which tastes totally awesome (both the brewed tea and the stuff in the can).

One of my favourite things to do on a Sunday afternoon. The drive from Terrace is beautiful, following the twisty paved road along the Blue-green, glacier fed, Kalum Lake, is a reminder what a majestic world we live in. Once arriving at the store, it always takes me back in time. That nostalgia washes over me and takes me back to an easier, peaceful time. The staff are wonderful and very helpful, when needed. The store is filled with wonderful spices, teas, and coffees. Most things are organic, or not heavily loaded with ingredients that take five minutes to read. It's such an experience going to this store. I always find some neat spice, or sauce, coffee or tea to try, along with a couple of the 'usuals'. Leaving with a warm smile, a yummy snack for the way home and my inner peace restored, makes this store my favourite thing to do

Best little store! They have just regular items and they also have special items you cannot just get anywhere. The people that work here are so friendly and nice.

I was visiting my daughter who lives in the outer reaches of Rosswood and had to get some groceries. Oh my, the Rosswood store may be small enough it cannot stock a lot of any individual thing but is does stock a lot of different" merchandise (food) from a lot of places in the world. Needless to say it's an adventure. Next time we visit Rosswood we will definitely find time to visit the store. The road through from Terrace to towns north is long so you will probably want to stop at the store for a pop and some food just for a break. Tell them Toby's dad sent you."

A pleasant surprise to come upon a country store with such an interesting variety of specialty and local foods. It's worth a stop or drive to check out.

Had good conversation with person in store. One of lady reminded us of mosquitoes spray as we on our way to weseach fall.

Clean inviting, lots to look at. Friendly atmosphere and staff wonderful service.
