BAD SERVICE EVER!!! I bought a brand new YZ450FX 2020 dirt bike through their 5 star dealer ship (at 27 May). After two rides the starter got fail. Bike had almost 2 hours and it happen in 9 days from the purchase (at 5 June). After a month of negotiation they decides to pay half price for the warranty replacement starter. ( it cost 900$ while starter of KTM cost only 300$. WHY??? both of them production of Mitsuba) After that they ordered the starter from Japan, which STILL DIDN'T ARRIVE. Only with YamahaCanada you can lose whole season when you buy new bike. Also their customer relation ship is just waste a time. Next time ONLY KTM

How am I unable to get the model of the sled I put a deposit for months ago with my dealer, while the general public was able to go on the website today and order whatever they wanted, and now they are sold out. Isn't that what a deposit is supposed to do? Yamaha, please contact me and make this right.

Went to an Ontario Dealer to purchase Yamaha Apex oil drain plug copper gaskets. Not only were they out, but apparently every dealer in Ontario is out. How is this possible since snowmobiling season is upon us and every 4 stroke owner from 2003 to present will be looking for these. I watched the Yamaha President's address a few months ago. But I did not expect not being able to buy a drain plug washer. I am hoping Canadian Tire or Parts Source have something similar. Unless they all use the same manufacturer.

Extremely disappointed in my experience with Yamaha Customer Service (Diane) as a customer and SSV vehicle owner. When you make a substantial purchase you expect to at least receive a response when you contact customer service. After calling and leaving a message with no answer I was hopeful when I finally received a response to my email, only to never hear back after providing the requested information (and sending a follow up).

Not very pleased with Yamaha today. My daughter bought me a snowmobile Goggle Bag online as a birthday gift but it was over 30 days before she could see me (Covid). Turns out she ordered the wrong bag and when she called to try to return/exchange it she was told No" - over 30 days - tough luck. No exchanges either

For years I have been a loyal customer and for years their service has been a freaking joke. I took my brand new boat to their RECOMMENDED 5 star dealer for winterizing service and I get it returned with a broken display. Contacted the dealer, with promise to fix and almost a year later there is no progress. Contacted Yamaha head office customer service explaining what happened - no response for a month.

I purchased a new Yamaha 212XE jet boat last year from The Cove in MacTier. The Cove is the equivalent to a sleezy used car dealership. They did not honor their agreed delivery date and then tried to push the matter to me saying I did not sign their paperwork or pay my deposit when they received the boat when they previously confirmed that payment and paperwork was due upon pick-up. I then had to follow-up for my warranty to be included on my account which took 3 months with both the Cove and Yamaha blaming each other. I tired to follow-up on why stereo features for my boat that were advertised were excluded from my boat. I never got an answer from the Cove and they blamed Yamaha. I then made a warranty claim for a damaged cushion that is now one year outstanding. I had to follow-up for updates and finally the Cove cancelled the claim as retaliation for a poor review I left them. I now have to start the warranty claim process again. Yamaha indicated that Yamaha dealerships do not have to honor or process warranty claims and further dealerships that don't sell you the boat may not service your boat. However, only a dealership can process a warranty claim and Yamaha will not deal with the owner. What is more bizarre is that when I followed up with Yamaha on my warranty claim they first said I could transfer the submitted warranty in their system to another dealership, then they denied that was possible, and then they said I should pick up my boat when I already had the boat. Both the Cove and Yamaha are equally confused and lack any level of customer service. Yamaha does not really have a warranty as its a joke to try to process a warranty claim. I truly regret purchasing a Yamaha boat and if you think that spending $100K+ is going to get you any level of decent customer service, think again. If you are in the market for a boat I strongly recommend that you avoid Yamaha as its a headache. Yamaha and The Cove dealership represent a true definition of a joke. They want your money for a sale and then turn their back on you for service.
