If you don't want to get eaten alive by mosquitos maybe just look at the site from your car. We walk 5 meters and were viciously attacked by swarms of mosquitos. We had to turn and run back to our car. A few got in the car and continue to attack my leg.You have been warned.

Great spot to check out. Some old graves. The stones have deteriorated over time and look really cool. There’s isn’t much to check out here but it’s beautiful and an important part of New Brunswick history. Check out Fort Beauséjour in the same day. It’s just 20 minutes down the road.

Seems like a forgotten memorial. A group who were required to surrender. A useless fort burned because it served no purpose. And 7 headstones worn nameless with age.Makes me think there is a romance novel waiting to be written.

Found at Indian Point, just outside of Port Elgin, NB, the fort itself has barely any remnants of existing other than the trenches around where it stood and the monument. This would be because the British burnt this tiny French fort to the ground in or around 1755. However, the views of the water and coast line are gorgeous! There is a motel/hotel across from this location.

We stumbled on this place and there is not much to see..Other than a gorgeous view of the ocean, the fort itself, only has one monument standing and it is a plaque that explains what the fort was used for and what happened to it.Neat little spot to see if you are out for a day drive

Interesting story, not much of anything other then an open lot at this point. Should have the blue print of fort up at least so you can kinda picture things. Beautiful location so it gets the four ⭐

Harsh bit of history in an even harsher location.I can't even begin to imagine winter here in a crude wooden structure.Parks Canada has kept the property in good shape.Small parking lot.
