Knot A Problem Massage Therapy - Vivien de Boerr RMT

Viv is an RMT godsend. I am so fortunate to have found her. She is far better than anyone else I've been to and her rates are standard for the area.Her studio is in her apartment in a separate room. The massage bed is double-wide and covered in memory foam. Luxurious, heavy, heated (if you want) blankets keep you warm and feeling safe. The decor is cozy rustic boho and soft flute music plays.I have a low pain tolerance and she patiently works me at a low pressure until my knots unwind and my muscles are soft and doughy. Vivien has a sure and sensitive touch, working on trouble spots mixed with relaxing techniques. (If you look at screens a lot you'll love her Neck Nirvana.) Any time I arrive with a tweak or small knot she works it out of me in an hour. When I have a bigger issue she gets me to a better place and gives me stretches and lends her gadgets so I can keep working on it at home.I will keep seeing Vivien as long as I can and highly recommend her services.

Vivien is the best RMT I have ever been to. I have been going to her for years and she knows exactly how to find all my knots and trigger points. I can’t go to any other RMT now so I travel over an hour to see her for my prenatal massages.

Vivien is spectacular in every sense of the word! I have been seeing her for about 7 years now and throughout two pregnancies. I received an excellent massage from Vivian today. She is a knowledgeable and caring therapist. She is very in tune with how your body reacts to her techniques and adjusts her pressure accordingly. Vivien is a great RMT who you can tell knows what she's doing. I had persistent pain in my shoulders for years to the point where it hurt to straighten them. Not even two sessions with Vivien and the issue was fixed, and hasn't come back since. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have both been clients/patients of Vivien, and we are both in agreement that she gives an awesome massage! I was eight months pregnant in December 2017 and had a prenatal massage which was wonderful and I felt very well taken care of. Vivien is very knowledgable about many different types of massage and other body treatments, she is very attuned to her patients, their needs and their wishes, and is incredibly kind and funny, to boot! We would highly recommend her to anybody who wants an excellent massage from a true professional!

Vivien is an excellent massage therapist! She can adapt her technique to suit her client. I prefer firm pressure and that is “knot a problem”. She also makes use of a variety of other modalities to help target specific issues... including taping. Because she works out of her home (her treatment room and table are professional and very comfortable) she is able to accommodate odd hours (great for parents as you can book an appt for after kids are in bed). I highly recommend Vivien.

Vivien is very interesting, funny and most importantly great therapist. Clients are her focus and she intuitively and creatively is able to work on those troubled areas of your body to ensure that you leave feeling relaxed with muscles rejuvenated. She incorporates massage gadgets into her session which adds a different dimension to the therapy and eases the pain in sore spots.Her hours are very convenient and plenty of parking in the back of the house so no logistical issues.

Vivien is amazing - one of the very best RMTs I've ever gone to and she's excellent at finding all the problem areas. I've had many massages from other RMTs in the past that don't apply enough pressure to really work anything out, but you'll never have that problem here! A great massage and always a fun conversation to boot! Highly recommend!
